Root Three Step No PC Required Root,Recovery,Rom Guide [ZTE Awe Only]

okay. I rooted by using kingo. checked with root checker basic and it says i am rooted. However, I still cannot get my phone's hotspot to work...

I am as happy as happy can be. Thank you so so much @devilschild26 and @djmixer36 !!! Could NOT have done this without you guys!! Although I have to personalize my phone all over again lol because of the factory reset default thing but hey that is the least of my worries. Again thanks so so so much.

the original romastersu and root rashr do still work with replacements sent out by virgin mobile. used both of these to perform root,recovery and then rom install yesterday. Seems to be where you get your awe from that is the factor on whether or not it comes preloaded with any updates. at least in my case it did not and was done with the process in a few minutes.

im lost when it comes to opening that chinese app. blue buttons?? red button next to a cartoon character??? there is none of those things but the file does open..however; it is in chinese. so im screwed. i guess. im thinking the chinese file/app in which you describd has been updated. i really want to root this phone. help please

When I opened up the Chinese app I didn't see anything that Curtis talked about but I did see a little button in Chinese beside of a Chinese looking android character, so I clicked that and it worked

was it a green button u clicked? this is the only thing i see. and if so do i follow the rest of the steps?

root master works too click on the maiue button then the root my spelling not right on the Maine but it starts with m good luck and what version is it ROM the latest version is little harder to get it to root but it can

I think that's the one he's using now, he just called it the Chinese app though lol
 
i got root rashr to open also but says my device hasnt been rooted" this is probably a lost cause. starting to wonder if this actually works..
 
from Curtis' steps....ive got the RommasterSU (chiness app) installed. then RootRashr installed but says my "device is not rooted" i also cant find the TWRP Recovery
 
there is a ROM in the root section that u should b able to use with stock recovery that will root and install a custom recovery then u b golden we herd will help u get rooted
