Root Unbrick Phone from LG Screen

are you running antivirus software? you will probably need to disable that to get lgnpst to run correctly

turned off my antivirus from the start. I keep getting an error that says something about not having LGNPST generic model 5.something eve though I do

cleaning my registry. . .

pretty common problem, did you reboot computer between installing the components?

I'm using a different computer now and starting from scratch.

I got everything set in LGNPST, now just waiting for it to reach 100%. Hopefully there will be no more problems.

same thing here i used Right_Click_Register_DLL that i found online it worked for me if you want the other computer to be able to restore as well

this tutorial worked but metropcs still said it wasn't working so I just replaced it with the Wildfire S.

i did everything you told me to do, and apparently, and when LGNPST was done, my phone still kept flashing at LG screen. Went to sleep and next day i charged it and now its at the charging screen, THANKS MAN, BIG THANKS!!!

i did everything and whenever i put in the dll and the bin it says
ERROR: Unable to load [LGNPST_Utility5.dll] component
path = Version = HR= 0x80040154

did you install all 3 parts? did you reboot between each part?

did you copy the "cracked" exe to the main lgnpst folder and paste it in, use that exe to open the program?

Just to let everyone know, this WILL zero you out.
What causes you to get zeroed out is the flashing of the .bin file, not because you bricked.
Also you don't have to wait for the battery to die, nor do you have to press the power button when you are trying to put the phone into software upgrade mode (aka download mode, also emergency mode).

I can,t find the ms690 dll in theprogram

while LGNPST is closed do this:
1. go to C:\LG Electronics\LGNPST\Model\MTP
2. drag MS690.dll over Reggie.exe
3. open LGNPST
4. try it now

Note: If you are running Win7 or Vista you must have UAC disabled first before doing this.
You can disable it by
Clicking Start>Control Panel>Search: "UAC"
Click "Change User Account Control settings"
Move the sliding tab or w.e. it's called all the way down to "Never notify" and press OK
After doing steps 1-4 you can change UAC back to where it was, but personally I like UAC set to off.
