dj05 does not fix lag. the stock kernel for it is no better imo than stock dio1. custom kernels are the major way to reduce/eliminate lag and system slowdown.

also only keeping 1 launcher, reducing widgets, and social network syncs help significantly as well

Thanks for the advice. I took off adw and just run launcherpro and peared down my widgets. Lag has decreased but it is still there. I'm kind of wary now because some have reported 2.2 actually makes their phones lag even more! Hopefully thats not the case.

Could just be placebo but removing all the "drm" apks seemed to yield the most improvement for me.

Of course you will probably need some or all of these if you use the bundled Blockbuster app or any other app/media with DRM.

you cant ditch tw without being rooted....but if you unrooted or something, you can odin the phone back to stock without root
