It means that the file "recovery_clockwork_3.0.1.3_swift.img" doesn't exist. I recommend just use the auto .exe file to flash it for you instead of doing it manually as you could make mistakes. :)

Download SmartKeyboard Pro from here then install it. Then go to Settings>Language & Keyboard>Check the SmartKeyboard Pro box>Press OK>SmartKeyboard Pro settings>General Settings>Portrait Mode>T9. Then press and hold on any text box, then select Input Method>SmartKeyboard Pro.

I tried to update the kdz but i got an error message saying Param=3 and something else (im not sure what). Can i have a list of all the fast boot commands required to install EVERYTHING or is there a read me in M6...

EDIT:
Would the Flash all no wipe mean that it flashes the new recovery and system without changing any data?
 
Working!

I use Touchpal input keyboard. Free from the market I used to use the smart keyboard pro but I find the dictionary isn't as good as this one, plus the T9 prediction doesn't come up as the second option... (uses T9 but displays the standard input first)
 
Okay the pc is not reconising my phone in download mode atall..
it does that USB connected jingle twice in a row.. nothing pops up, i run the kdz updater and then the pc plays the USB disconnected jingle twice in a row...

i try a difffrent USB port and it says found new hardware and installs the drivers.. then says its stopped working :/

anither usb port says its malfunctioned.. i dont get it -.-

please help!

I had this same problem - you may need to check your windows update - there may be a google update waiting to download.

If not check your device manager and enable or disable the lg modem drivers.
 
i can not conect to the internet over my mobile provider (3G).did i done something wrong during instalation or is just ROM? is it there some possibilities to fix that? i have recieved sms with automatic mms and internet setings from my provider,but no joy. help needed
 
i have install,but i have some problems that i can not solve.
1.can not set incoming sms/mms ringtone
2.unable to connect to the internet over my mobile provider(TELE 2 , Croatia)
3.unable to connect USB MASS STORAGE to my PC.

any solutions?

2. Go to Settings>Wireless & Networks>Mobile Networks>Access Point Names>Menu>New APN then enter these settings:
1) GPRS - internet

MMS proxy:
MMS port:

MCC: 219

i have solved that issuess,but i am still not able to connect to my pc without removing my sd card from my phone and insert it back or rebooting phone with usb cable connected,than works. USB debugging enabled is enabled. regardles,i am thankfull for all your help ,so i can enjoy now in my android 2.3.4.

It's been a while since I've used xp but I think its: my computer > properties > device manager? hardware? it will give you the list of hardware that is installed - you can right mouse click on the lg modem drivers to enable or disable as necessary.

Thanks i just used this in cmd:
devmgmt.msc

All done, my phone is on a blue terminal screen and saying doownlaoding and updating and things.. its good :)

will edit with results soon

went from 42MB free to 138MB free ^^
 
Hi Guys,

I want to update my phone from M5 to M6 but before I do that I want to backup my M5 ROM just in case I want to go back to the previous ROM.
The problem is ClockworkMod Recovery Backup and Restore is not working.
Is there any other way to backup my ROM or is there a way to fix the ClockworkMod?

Are the recovery_M6.zip and fastboot_M6.zip files the only ones I need to upgrade to 2.3.4? Should I use these files and follow how to upgrade from the first post? lol
