USB Debugging should be disabled, disable it and try again

What's wrong with your Clockwork Recovery? Have you tried updating to the most recent version (3.2.0.1)?

Yeah it is.. I'm doing my best to get it up and running :)

If you want to upgrade all you need is the recovery .zip file, then you copy it to sd card and flash it through recovery :D
 
Hey everybody! I’m pleased to announce that the blog is now up and running! What happened was that my web host had decided to cancel my account without notice, meaning I had completely lost everything. I had an old backup from the 1st of April, it only seems like 2 months, but a lot happened since then..

I’d like to say thank you for your patience and I’m working to restore as many posts, pages etc. as I can since they’ll be coming back from memory.

I will also be running weekly backups, so if anything like this does happen again (which it shouldn’t anymore), everything will be back as normal :)

The new site is at www.swiftdroidblog.co.cc, and the feed is still at http://feeds.feedburner.com/swiftdroid :D

Hi Sir DudeMan1996,

Whenever I try to create a backup it just show the ClockworkMod Logo.
Where can I find the recent version of ClockworkMod and how to install it?

Is that right tho? I used the exe file to install it and still says 2.3.3 in the phone status menu? Or is it supposed to say 2.3.4?

To select an option you press the call button, just to clarify that.

You can update it by putting your phone into fastboot mode (camera+power), connecting it to your PC then running this exe :)

I did that, but when I tried to enter recovery it just shows a blank screen (It still is, I decided not to turn it off or mess with it)

Can someone please tell me what I should do? :(

How are you trying to get into recovery? You do it by holding home and powering on, as long as you flashed recovery through fastboot, you'll get the recovery screen.
 
Hi, Thanks for the instructions for setting up Android 2.3.4. I set up v2.0 M6 using fastboot and now seem to have a much longer battery life.

I was hoping to use the video calling features that are available in Google Talk in this version. Unfortunately I can only chat using text.

Does anyone know how to get the video calling features to work?

I have some issue with Video Recording.
I am just a meter away from the camera but the audio output is very low on playback.
Is there a way to adjust the recording audio volume or is there a better application for Video Recording.

I don't think the Talk app has support for video calling for anyone yet, but I could be wrong on that. The GT540 doesn't have a front facing camera anyway..

I can think of 2 things:

1. Is the volume up during playback? (:p a bit obvious)

2. Check to see if there's any dirt in the mic. The mic is the small hole just below and in-between the home and power button
