Fortunately, we only have the cdma radio to deal with and that tends to be the one that's easiest to get to work with cm.

The D2 (and I think the dx?) had the same issues with the camera. Ultimately, a HAL had to be written for the D2 to get it to work and even then, the image was flipped. Camera is a low priority for me, so whatevs.
 
ive had this running for a couple of hours.... everything is great.... installed gapps .... only weird thing i have noticed is that for some reason.... with the screen off and nothing else being used, the battery life is very very short.... its showing "phone" 93% of battery use.... where as os and everything else is nothing....

I'm sure you guys thought of this, but the rils from the leak *might* work better than those in the gb rom. Since lg likes to change them in each rom/phone they do, it might help to have rils that are already coded to work with an ICS rom.

Yes, your ******* stupid don't post here anymore.. seriously bro? Shit Is cool yo I thought making my own cider out of fermenting apple juice was a good idea and as I just learned its actually a very bad idea and tastes nothing like the good shit..

Guess what I'm saying is everyone has they're moments so its cool..

anyways, i setup my spectrum last night with a pre-paid phone carrier to test cellular reception. i was gtn 1 bar bouncing and flickering once in awhile but i would asume its nothing to get excited over. My wifi did cut out when i set an apn tho... that wasnt suppose to happen? Anyways, il keep tinkering and see what other results i can pick up for you guy's

4 kids and still got time to code? wtf? Shit I got one daughter and barely leaves enough time for immature banter and nonconstructive contribution.. Than again im 24 so maybe im not as wise as I think.. fermenting apple juice to make my own booze is probably evidence of that..
 
Got the ICS leak onto my phone without using the .tot file (so my bootloader remains unlocked). Basically used the system dump and boot dump along with my kernel and some rc-file tweaks. The radio seems to work, so I'll be using the radio log and possibly strace for clues to fix rild.
 
Going through the init.rc from the leak....

Manager: "Hey, let's obfuscate our security crap."
Dev1: "Good idea, let's rename the binary to something innocuous."
Dev1: "Here's the new init code, all commented like we're supposed to do."
Dev2: "Looks great, commit it!"
