Did you wipe everything before you flashed? a clean install would have about 100mb of free space.

And for script info check the velocity forum. Android development>customROMS>velocity then velocity script thread -i think is how to find if from the main forums page. You can odex and/or move dalvik2cache for major space savings. Odex will not save as much and will keep you from changing themes. Dalvik2cache can cause issues with certain apps although i have never had any myself. Check the scripts thread for more info and there are MANY more features

Yeah....what he said!!!!

My only complaint I have with Velocity is with with charging. Windows PC require installing LG Android Drivers or running Ubuntu (I assume any Linux variant). Overall its not a true issue other than I can't charge my phone with my work PC where I can't install the android drivers. And charging in general is kind of flaky. Wall chargers will charge phone to 100%, but once it hits 100% my phone will then think its unplugged and start using battery again.

For all I know this might not even be relevant to Velocity.. Otherwise I love Velocity. It has been the only way I can cope with the otherwise intentionally handicapped phone.

I am not huge of the battery as mentioned in other posts; aesthetically it would prefer the percentage outside of the batter (if possible) to make it easier to read. Along with that i would love it if the rate at which the percentage was updated could be changed instead of every 20% to like 5% or lower (so i don't over estimate my battery life.

Agree. The battery icon is so small, my 46-year-old eyes can't make out whether I have a full charge, half charge or no charge. Needs to be bigger and give exact percentage increments.

Other than that, I'm loving Velocity even though I've had it only a day...

Dude its a little somethin called velocity 1.1. Go check it out.

Ok. Didn't notice because its too small for me to make out anyway. My issue is the size of the icon. But today I installed the widget BattStatt and am happy with it.

Have you tried any of the other themes, iirc some of them have larger indicators

I know how you feel about the icon being small, im 15 and i can barely see the damn thing, but its not the devs fault, its just the fact that we all decided to buy this phone with a ridiculously small screen.

While everyone is nitpicking, I wish there were a way to turn off the Velocity Toolkit warning box every time it starts. It gets kind of old, especially since it's the only way to get to terminal emulator.

Anyone noticed that they fixed "preform" typo? Folks were all in an uproar when we had the typo. Haven't noticed anyone say thanks for fixing it? I kinda though it was cool with the "preform"!
Anyhoo ....thanks!!!!

3 words

It will be the best 4 dollars you have ever spent (if you use the terminal alot that is)

(or you could always download the sameol emu from the market and you will have a link)

I've noticed something that I really hope there is a fix for. Now that I've installed 1.1 the MMS size cap has been cut down. I used to be able to send almost one minute audio clips with 1.0, but with 1.1 it will only allow about 15 seconds. If there is a simple fix for this please let me know.

Ill look into this. thanks.

Update 1: Upon looking at the stock MMS.apk and Velocity's mms.apk but the size limits are the same. Ill keep digging.

Update 2: Ludeawakening. I'm gonna need you for testing. PM me.

Thanks for taking a look at this man. I am at work right now. Just let me know when would be the best time tomorrow for us to try and figure this out. I do not have a computer available to work from at the moment. Thanks again Death!
