[Verizon] [ROM][4.0.4] AOKP ICS B40/M6/Mods (7/8)

Yeah I've been running no nav bar on LS with LMT for a long time. Just decided to try AOKP again and for the life of me I can't find the nav bar toggle. It's not on the power menu. I'm just getting the Power Off/Reboot/Airplane mode options with the Mute/Vibrate/Speaker across the bottom. Weird.

Edit: Where do I get my Dumba$$ of the Day award??? Must enable it in the ROM menu :D

lol correct it's in the Power Menu Options in ROM Control

has anyone else noticed that themes break the battery bar on 35?

Edit: some of the themes break the bar. I re-installed B35 and I have it back.

Is anybody getting videos taken showing portrait even thought they were filed in landscape? If I play them in MX they play fine but if I use the stock player, they play in portrait mode.

Sorry if this was asked before... Never happened before installing this ROM.

I noticed occasionally the battery would revert to the circle mode one I had used previously, but didn't pin it down to something specifically causing it :(

I'll try 36, but I'm back on M5. There's too much broken when themes are applied. Besides, the themes are just barely there. They're not as deep as the flashed themes for former versions.

BTW, I found a good app that utilizes gvoice better and works with B35. It's called Voice+ available on the market. It calls you back using your gvoice number and shows the other party whichever number you want to see (as long as it's connected to your gvoice account.

It's uuuuuuuuuuuup. Nevermind...the changelog is there, release page is created, but "no downloads available for this release". :(

Well, I snagged it manually from a mirror.

At least for me, dirty flashing b35 to b36 did not work out well. Issues I saw in the few minutes I ran it:

- Play Store was gone
- Downloaded the mod'd Play Store via LCD Density Modder pro - closes immediately when opening play store
- gray wifi+signal bars

I think most of this is due to the use of the mod'd Play Store and GSF from LCD Density modder pro, so fear not. :)

I figured I'd try a dirty flash for the hell of it (I am normally a clean flash kind of person anyway).

I dirty flashed b36 over b35/GLaDOS kernel and my (unmodded) market was missing as well, so had to flash gApps. Of course had to add my existing acct (again) and clear data on Market before it would show my apps. I had the same issue when I dirty flashed b35.

Anyone able to protect a backup with Titanium? I'm running M5 and I get a message that the process can't be completed. Never seen this before. Maybe someone else could try and see if it let's you.

Protect a backup? Not familiar with that what is it?

Did a clean install on B36 but I cannot find where the settings are for the delayed ring feature. Anybody know?

I'm still on B35, but have you checked in phone settings? Go into the dialer and hit the 3-dot menu button and see if they're in there. Cool feature btw let us know how it works

If you tap on a backup in titanium, it gives you the option to protect it so it won't get overwritten by subsequent backups. Nice to use if you have alternate launcher themes and you want to switch back and forth.

Sweet! I never knew. Thx for learnin' me :)

I've been on build 35 for a week or so and I'm experiencing the same issue that I was having on build 20 or so. My Nexus just freezes up for no apparent reason 3 or 4 times a day. I've tried wiping everything and reinstalling the ROM but I get the same results. I've tried quite a few other CM9/ICS ROMs and this is the only one that has this issue for me. :(

Stock kernel? Any tweaking like voltages?

Did this just start or has it been locking up since you installed B35?

Stock kernel with no tweaks at all. I haven't used this ROM in quite a while and decided to give a try last week. They started soon after (same day) installing the ROM, it's pretty much the same thing that was happening to me before.

Maybe your phone doesn't like fauxs (16m kernel) default voltages which are undervolted from the stock Google kernel. I'd try the stock Google kernel (which is fauxs 4.0.4 reset kernel) and see how it does. You can get it on fauxs page @ rootz here

Anyone have b36? It appears the aokp site is down.

Speaking of the faux kernel. Where can I download the latest builds?

Thanks!
