Yeah but I tried that once and none of the apps open, so I let market auto restore and then restore app data I need...there's no way to batch restore data only right?

I honestly don't have much but I don't let it auto restore. Most things I either use titanium or just use the backup I made

And how do you get your data back on to the auto restored? Restore each one?

i dont really. all mine are mostly login stuff i just reenter it all when i open each app. i dont have many apps.

I only restore what I need to. Still takes a while! I'll let it restore while I sleep

Build 19 is up. As for wiping, from 17 on up all you need to do is format/system and install gapps. All the programs will remain in place.

Can you confirm that it works without wiping though? I see mixed opinions over at rootzwiki haha

EDIT: All systems working with cache, dalvik, and format/system. No issues whatsoever so far.

For those of you running, for lack of a better word, "stock" AOKP, meaning no themes or UI mods, Jackstraw's fast glow mod is great. You can seriously notice the difference. People using themes, (for example I'm using third eye) sorry, can't flash both :/ I feel your pain also!
