[Verizon] [ROM][4.0.4] AOKP ICS B40/M6/Mods (7/8)

Has anyone noticed on b29 that after the screen has been off and the phone idle for a while, the wifi indicator will be gone when you first turn the screen on? Then shortly after it pops up (blue immediately from what I've seen). I have the wifi settings set to "Always" for "Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep".

Any ideas?
 
I'm on 5.0.0.6 and oddly enough it worked when i tried to back up rom about 30 min ago. It doesnt give an error code it just freezes and about 3 min later it says rom manager has stopped working would you like like to wait or report. I'm fixin to wipe and load aokp b29.

I am a-itchen for Thirty!!!! Looking forward to it, almost flashed 29 just to flash.....maybe my will power will be gone in an hour or so, downloading 29 now then gonna nandroid...will see how I feel then.

I'm on 28 and mine's been doing that for a while. Not really sure what it is.

No such animal here on B28/Lean Kernel 2.8.0. This has been the best ROM/Kernel combo to date for my device.

I've seen this happen on just about every ROM I've ever run at some point, not often at all though. Never concerned me as I've always gotten emails, notifications, weather updates, anything with data needed etc...

I've been so smitten with stock that I haven't branched out to try anything new yet.

But all the rave reviews for this bad boy are about to have me flash it right now...

ahhhhh! I'm scared!!!
 
The bad news is, you'll have to wipe for b30 even coming from b29, it looks like.

The good news is, it sounds like b30 is going to be amazing! Can't wait!

Part of me says that's likely and part says doubtful. Doubtful because M4 is just a few builds ago...but I'm leaning towards likely so that AOKP has a 4.0.4 milestone

b29 for the last 24hrs with the FA02 radio has been the bomb. I've only run it with the stock kernel so far, have yet to put my peacemaker M2 on :p

What issue/s (besides known bugs) did you experience Cap'n? Have you tried 4.0.4 with the .4 radio yet?

b29 for the last 24hrs with the FA02 radio has been the bomb. I've only run it with the stock kernel so far, have yet to put my peacemaker M2 on :p

Yeah, AOKP b29 with FA02 radios and LK 2.8.0 has been quite good. I'm holding off on LK 3.0.0 until some feedback on battery has been provided by early adopters :p

Besides the known bugs? After the third time I had to do a battery pull because my phone was frozen I decided to restore my nandroid and wait for 30.

Yes, I have the .4 radio.

Oh boy I see. Yeah I think I would have restored after the 2nd battery pull ;)
 
OK I am all upgraded, but the Market isn't auto downloading all my old apps like it used to. Do I really have to click them one by one to get them to reinstall?

I know I could have used Titanium but I have had bugs in the past using Titanium to restore apps.

Anyone have a quick method?

Also- any really awesome things I should know / show off about this ROM?

Swagger mode is a joke or the like. All in fun.

Fast charge is like when you are on a wall charger and you get the full mAh the charger is capable of and no data transfer or connection. Charge only.
USB mode is most likely limited to 500 mAh and is data connected..
