You can dirty flash - wipe cache and dalvik cache. Flash ROM and gapps.
If there's any issues that arise that no one else is having but you, everyone here will tell you to do a clean flash. I haven't had any issues with dirty flashing AOKP in the past two months.
Really the only time I get major problems with dirty flashing is when I dirty flash between completely different ROMs. AOKP - Xenon HD for example lol.
I am running build 4. Sometimes when I reboot my phone it takes a long time. It spends minutes on the Google logo before displaying the AOKP graphic. Then, when I reboot again, it's quick. Is there anyway to reduce the boot time? Thanks.
5 is laggy for me. Sometimes screen doesn't even respond to touch for several taps. I'm hoping 6 drops soon and fixes this.
Is anyone else experiencing this ^ ?
I asked because I made a nandroid of my ROM, did a complete clean wipe, installed AOKP B5 and am not experiencing this.
I did a clean wipe as well. I noticed some quirks withing a few minutes and rewiped and reinstalled. It didn't help.
It isn't unbearable and I really like AOKP so I will hold out for 6....if 6 is the same, I will revert back to 4 and live my life - I really enjoyed 4.
Franco's Kernel (Milestone 6)
Currently using CM faux123 kernel at the moment with JB build 5.
I'm hearing that using LeanKernel may help with the battery life. Do you guys think it's worth switching the kernel for battery life?
Have you tried a different kernel? Not all kernels play well with every phone.

Milestone 1 is out
Milestone 1 runs smooth again....but WiFi doesn't work! I turn it on and no icon ever appears. If I go into WiFi settings I can connect but functionally I stay on the mobile network.
Anyone else?
Seems to work fine for me.
