[Verizon] [rom]jbsourcery v5.4-lte[06/07/13] jb4.2.2 The Final Call

Yes, I have been having this issue with previous JB Sourcery ROMs, not sure about other ROMs. I do the same thing like you and email pictures instead of text messaging them.

An issue I am having is when I send a picture through text messaging, it says "sending" and never sends to the person. Days will go by and it will say "sending."

I had this same issue quite a while back. I was using Handcent though. Got rid of that and been using the stock messaging app with no problems.

Pretty sure MMS is a Verizon issue. My wife's non rooted nexus ( dont judge me. She wants sourcery..I've been busy) has problems sending MMS also.

On 4.0 right now and having issues with wifi tether. The "official" tether (through the toggles) is recognized by two of my computers but doesn't connect. I've double checked the passphrase and it's correct. The Google app isn't recognized at all. I've messed with settings quite a bit and ensured it's upgraded.
I've used it in the past with other 4.1 ROMs. Is it possible there's a glitch with 4.2.1, or just my user error?
(edit: BTW, we'll be driving through Statesville today on our way to Hickory for Christmas :))

honk as you come by I will wave at you! Looks like you will get into some snow in the mountains today :)

I was forced to use the tether on Tuesday, my router crapped out on me, and didnt have issue. I didnt use the toggle, just set it manually. might try that.

I'll give it a shot. Try my tablets as well.
Honestly, it's just the interchange at I40 we get on. :)
How is JR by the way? Never been there but see all the signs for it. Only curious.

if you have 20 minutes.. its an experience.. a store with cheap priced items... cool cigar room.. I wouldnt stop at it more than once.. but was fun, once :)

If we leave early enough, I'll give it a shot! :)
Well, both tablets are dead for battery life.
I've tried both encrypted and nonencrypted connections, neither worked.

Would it possibly be a cache issue?

Edit: FWIW, I'm wiping cache/dalvik to see if that helps.

Hey Dread, I just tried laptop and hubby's transformer tablet. No issues with either. I did have trouble with the toggle the first connection and had to set it manually through settings. After that the toggle worked flawlessly. Have fun in Hickory, and I am with tde, JR is a one time gotta see, can be fun, but only once. lol. But, Hickory did get a Ollies, I know in the DC area they are not new but they are to us in NC, never know what you will find there. It reminds me of Big Lots 20 years ago.
