[Verizon] [rom]jbsourcery v5.4-lte[06/07/13] jb4.2.2 The Final Call

Hi Texas and welcome to Android Forums! :)

Did you make a nandroid backup before trying to theme it? Highly recommended ;)

I assume not: someone who themes may have a solution but worst case you might need to wipe the phone and re-flash the ROM and Gapps & start over. Take you about an hour to get back running again.

EDIT: If you haven't wiped the phone, don't. Read the post below and try dirty flashing the ROM & Gapps.
thanks for the response - backup saved me, rebooted ROM & GAAPS & I'm back!

I keep getting push notifications about 5.2 bean picker themes, but when I tap on it, the color picker menu only goes to 5.1 :(

How does one get to the 5.2 bean picker themes? I have never themed my phone. Ever. But I made a nandroid and I'm willing to try this. Thanks

Okay, being new to this whole bean picker thing, I obviously did something wrong.

I downloaded the colorpack, booted into Recovery, made my nandroid ( ;) ), cleared cache and installed the colorpack. Rebooted. I am stuck on the bootanimation perpetually.

Should I have cleared Dalvik too? What am I doing wrong here?

EDIT: And yeah, IRC is broke. No Captcha will verify. Ever. :(

EDIT 2: Okay dear readers, do you now understand why I harp on making nandroid backups so much? Had I not had a backup, I would have to wipe the phone and start all over. I did: so all I have to do is wipe the phone and restore the nandroid... it'll be like nothing ever went wrong.

hmm, going thri adiIrd app its working.. but did notice yesterday a lot of issues in IRC itself.

Chief, which rom version are you on? Did you download the correct color pack for the version?

Good enough for me: lesson learned... my assumption was that the experimental was 5.2 based and the picker would work.

I'll wait for the much anticipated 5.3 and trick that out :)

Chief, the same thing happened to me. Never again... I dirty flashed ROM and GAAPS again and it went back to life. Phew...

I've had 5.2 since release. It was messed up about 2 weeks ago with a boot loop and somehow acted like it was the first time I activated the phone yet all apps were already there along with how I had it set up and wallpapper. Just a couple hours ago the battery almost died and it went into a boot loop again. Pulling the battery, and trying to get into recovery seem to be of no use. I can get into Odin, but I'm not touching that. I'm thinking of leaving it plugged in all night.

I pulled the battery then put it back in without powering it back on and I'm just going to leave it plugged in all night. My Nexus 7 had a problem not too long ago and leaving it plugged in all night fixed the problem.

I couldn't wait.

I managed to get back into recovery and wiped and then did a clean flash of 5.2 and Gapps.

Phone is up and running again.

Question for you guys... I'm on 5.2 with the latest zebra gapps. I see there is a newer version of search and music was just released today. Obviously, I understand it takes time to theme them and I'm in no rush. I'm just curious what the best way to update to the next inverted way will be? Thanks

Yeah definitely get yourself a chat client.

irc.freenode.net/8001

Set up your user name first and 2nd choice. Should never need more than that. After you connect, in the text box type /join ##sourcery.

Flashed this the other day. Absolutely love it for my first ROM. The only issue I'm having is that I'm not getting any LED flashes. I want to use LightFlow Lite, but it hasn't worked since I flashed this. Any help would be appreciated.

That's what I was giving you.

Host: irc.freenode.net
Port: Leave default
Password: leave blank

Then once logged onto the server, type:

/join ##sourcery
