[Verizon] [rom]jbsourcery v5.4-lte[06/07/13] jb4.2.2 The Final Call

I haven't had any trouble with Bluetooth and my headset (Backbeat 903+)

I'm still having trouble with the 4G toggle just stop working. Any guides on how to use aLogCat? I open it up, then try the toggle, but it doesn't record anything.

Is Bluetooth still hanging up for everyone? It is genuinely annoying, even with the 4.1 binaries.

The only thing that seems to work for me is enabling BT on my phone, and restarting the phone before I pair with my car's system. Once I do this (and don't permit phonebook transfer), it is stable till I turn BT off.

UGH! - but hopefully 4.3 will fix it

I've been having the same issue also a similar issue with toggling data. It will toggle off but not back on.

On JB 5.1

I'm still on 5.1. I had issues only because I tried toggling to 3G for testing. Once I finally got it back on 4G, it's worked great. :D

Sorry i havent been around... been very busy as anyone that comes to irc tonight will see. we are waiting to hit 25 and 5.3 RC1 will be released.

But on the irc it works on phone. I was told by someone it was the browser that caused the issue when they switched browesers the irc on our web site worked. and it works for me. on the roms browser. and on my computer

Quick question, figured I'd put it here. I currently have my Magic Clock on my lockscreen, center top of the screen, love it. EXCEPT, for when I'm listening to music. Pandora, and my music apps have added lockscreen widgets, which is great. However, they also default to the same part of the screen, and I effectively lose my Magic Clock whenever I listen to music. Already checked Pandora, and there is no option to turn off that widget, I imagine my other music apps are the same way. So, does anyone have any ideas/ways to accomplish having my clock on the lockscreen at the same time as any music widgets that might be running? Should mention, this is obviously on Sourcery, no extra lockscreen apps (No WidgetLocker, etc).

All, the OP has been updated.
I hope everyone enjoys this release!!!!!

You have no idea how incredibly sad I am after hearing this news.... While I am very grateful for you (and the team) working so hard on teamsourcery ROMs for the GNex, and realize that this must have taken up so much of your time, I must admit that I have no clue about which ROM to switch to later (when the next OS release comes out).

I of course plan to install 5.3 this weekend, and am fairly confidence that I'll find it to be as stable as the previous releases (and am especially looking forward to "Permission manager" - hope it does what I hope it does) - but am really really going to miss teamsourcery ROMs once the next OS release comes out...

I wish you and the team the very best in your future endeavors!

I would "like" that but can't bring myself to do it.

TDev, Eagle, et al, it has been a rocking ride. I've really enjoyed it, and am saddened that KLPSourcery is not meant to be. Sorry I couldn't have donated more.

You've earned the rest. THANK YOU.

I want to thank all of the users here at Android Forums, for your support of us the last 18 months.

This last release, in my opinion, is the best of them all!!!

Due to changes ive made in my personal life I have not been as active the last 6 weeks as I would have liked. I will continue supporting the rom and release as long as we have active users. Please stop in and say hi in our IRC, it truly is the place where magic happens :)

TDEV and EAGLE (plus all the devs supporting and contributing to Sourcery):

This has been my daily ROM since first released. I have been quietly following the development for the entire time. I have an incredibly busy schedule but always managed to flash the experimentals to play with. I was always amazed how the new features worked. Amazing effort and it is greatly appreciated.

Certainly understand the need to do "other" stuff in your life. Wish you all the best in your future endeavors. My guess, is you all are successes in other aspects out there too. Keep it rocking. Hope to come across you guys in the future!

Thank you very much,

I am quite saddened by the news that Sourcery is not continuing into future releases. Its been my daily driver for almost as long as I've had my phone. You guys put out a great ROM! Thanks for all your hard work and support!!!

I haven't even run Sourcery on my phone for a long time, but it's definitely sad to see one of, if not, the most active and supportive dev teams on AF go. It's always a bummer to see new releases stop, but as always, real life is more important :-)

I wish you guys the best of luck in everything you do and know that you have a huge following backing you if you ever decide to come back with a new release :-P

I too am sorry to hear you guys stopping. It's been a real fun ride keeping up on your developments.

Even though I am still on JBS 3.2, I have been on it a long time. That makes Sourcery about the only JB ROM I've run on my phone. Sure I've tried others (I think I used AOKP with ICS), I still come back to my nandroid of 3.2. Maybe one of these days when I get over my 'anti' 4.2.2 thing I'll give this one a try, but it's in my collection.

good luck

It's a sad day for me. I have had my Gnex since release and I started on this ROM shortly after - basically as soon as you released it and haven't strayed since. You guys deserve a break, but sad none-the-less.

Question for everyone. I installed 5.3 and the black majic gapps, and unfortunately it installed the hangouts instead of the GTalk. I never made the switch, because the things it was lacking, i was not willing to live with. Need to have only my contacts that I want for Gtalk, and not everyone in circles, or they have to be in circles, etc... for me to talk with.

I used TiBU on GTalk. Can I use that to re-install or am I going to do ir-reparable damage?

should be able to delete hangouts, reboot, then install your backup.
in theory :)

not sold on hangouts yet, but giving it a go myself :)
