[Verizon] [rom]jbsourcery v5.4-lte[06/07/13] jb4.2.2 The Final Call

Oh no, I want the alarms on, but I don't want a persistent icon in my status bar.

I prefer to have icons visible, when they're actively being used, for example, GPS. I always have it on, but it doesn't persist in my status bar, unless in use. This is a feature contained in some other ROMs (the ability to remove the alarm clock), so I was curious as to if it existed here.

No its not in as of yet. but its coming.
only so much time and as you see we have a lot of things to do , it will come :)

Thanks for the response. You all do excellent work and this is an exceptional ROM.

And just to throw it out there, I was sold after the following experience over a days worth of casual use (for me). I usually don't expect huge variations in performance between most ROMs (hats off to the other devs), but this one has been genuinely noticeable, and works well with my device.

Donated. :)

I looked for think free but I don't see it.

Also, the mods menu is off.
Animations opens boot animations, boot animations opens fonts, etc.

I have documents to go installed. I cleared defaults of that then tried to open a doc knowing that it will ask what app I wanted to use to open it, thinkfree was not one of the options.

So let's get a bump for what kernel everyone is living with this beast. Im living Franco, great battery with performance, all others seen to heat up my phone. Tried glados for A day...that one seemed legit too,i didn't let it settle..but it seemed nice. I just have a hard time leaving what works..oh so well

Big Bear, to flash a better kernel, do you just flash it in recovery and reboot? Do you have to clear anything? What if you're already running another kernel? Do you have to clear anything then? Thanks.

Saw nothing wrong in 2.2.1. Then I updated to 2.2.2. Been using the Charming text mod on my nav bar, Menu was the word before...now it is the 4 bar icon but the rest are as they should be, text. Is this how it will be for now on? I know its minor, but just looks better when all 4 are text...in bright green

<snip>I downloaded and installed the matrix one, since it used to my favorite on the OG Droid<snip>

<snip>Boot Animations [sic] most were from the OG Droid days[/sic]<further snip>Again, if you have one you would like and see it already setup for the Nexus, would be happy to add it, with proper approval of course.

Well I don't know who first created the green matrix bootanimation for the OG Droid, but I have properly edited it to fill the screen very well on my Gnex. You have at least my approval to add it to your collection. It is here for you to grab if you wish and add it:

Thx for a gr8 rom.

p.s., I guess since I was able to mod that one well enough, if anyone else wants me to mod another from the OG droid to the gnex, I can sure give it a try. . . . .

Thank you!!! I have loaded it up, in the HD section

Nothing groundbreaking, think of it as sort of having a different phone for the work day and one for home/play.
