[Verizon] [rom]jbsourcery v5.4-lte[06/07/13] jb4.2.2 The Final Call

shouldnt be a problem.. got a request for another font as well..
I need to get with eagle to understand how to post them on the server. Trying to help out with chiz on hiatus for a few weeks and dont see how we add them, yet :)

Not sure if this issue is ROM specific; but has anyone had any issues setting a contact picture to any of their contacts?

If I try to set a picture from the gallery as one of my contacts pic, it FCs every time without fail, saying "Unfortunately, Contacts has stopped". Then, if I just go to the contact in the People app, then select their pic to change it, select Gallery, then the pic, crop it and hit Done, it acts like it accepted the picture, but the picture doesn't change no matter how many times I do this.

Thanks for any input.

This may not be related to jbsourcery but is there a way to get the stuff like the Galaxy s 3 has like the voice command to answer and reject calls?

Just did a clean wipe and re-flashed 2.2.... After boot a female voice just whispered 'sourcery' (never heard that before) and scared the living hell out of me.... lol got to find out how to cut that feature off.

Lulz. It's the default notification. I had the same fear factor moment the first time I loaded up. :D

you should of been around in the ics days when we had a eagle scream in front of the sourcery. that really jacked people.

dont forget x.x.x builds are experimental and for testing and to see what people think so we can make changes before a full x.x release there may be several x.x.x releases before a x.x release.
We have tested and believe them to be stable but they have not gone through extensive testing thats what we hope to get from those that are brave :)
the x.x.x are updates only all x.x builds will be full roms.

There wont be change logs but well point out the basics in the push notifications or the script when installed or both.

Only main drawback to x.x.x builds is themers will not be theming for these as they will change often. and there may be some changes we are only actually trying to get feedback on. and may or may not be in a full release.

live with us on the bleeding edge and install.
or live with us on the most supported rom available by staying on x.x builds

again Thank You for using JBSourcery.
Experience the magic, the fun and now the Magic releases!

Quick question, when you guys load a high clocked kernel do yall turned it all the way up say to 1.7 for example, or do you under clock? I ask because I'm considering doing it and running it on 3g since 4G is spotty even with the new radios

I can do that with my BT headset, I'm not sure I would want it on the phone.

The headset can pickup background noise and answer for me, even though I didn't want it to do so.

I assume having that feature on the phone itself would have behave in the same manner.

I really like the new look, it appears to be better organized, not that it wasn't organized before mind you.

I noticed the soft keys mod menu doesn't open.
I also don't see the navigation bar toggle mentioned in the push notification message.

Once you've enabled the option in Settings -> JBSourcery Control Center -> Power Menu options. Setting is "Show navigation bar toggle"

When you long press the power button on your phone, you will see a row toward the bottom with a power symbol, home, back, and menu. The power symbol toggles the navbar. The other ones do what you would think. They act as a replacement for the now missing (if off) navbar buttons.

Sorry T-dev, maybe I'm drunk, but your response made no sense to me

Thanks. I looked right at it and didn't see it.

I may have missed it, but is there an option to remove the alarm clock icon from the status bar? I'm not a fan of how it persists there (and for that matter, bluetooth), since they are always-on, anyway.

Appreciate any input, in advance.

I have a question that i haven't seen yet. Does the back up too just put a standard backup on my sd card...or is it my set up??? Also, if it's my set up, how do i keep updating it....because that could potentially be the fastest nandroid known to man!!! And really help me out...cuz call me old school, but i back up before ANYTHING!!!!

Make sure all your alarms are turned off in Clock. :)
Oh no, I want the alarms on, but I don't want a persistent icon in my status bar.

I prefer to have icons visible, when they're actively being used, for example, GPS. I always have it on, but it doesn't persist in my status bar, unless in use. This is a feature contained in some other ROMs (the ability to remove the alarm clock), so I was curious as to if it existed here.
