what restore option does the team suggest? im using titanium <snip>
Somewhere in Sourcery Tools they offer the option of installing Titanium, but say that they don't believe in using it as it might cause problems. I use MyBackupPro, though tried TiBu way back in the OG Droid days and found that MBP is much better for backing up my apps less data and use it to backup and restore data elements like those bolded below and . . . .:
SMS/MMS
Call Log
<snip>
Wi-fi Settings
After restoring those, you need to reboot so they "set in".
In addition with MBP, I backup and restore bookmarks and dictionary. Real quick, the Wi-Fi settings The_Chief mentions above are
always restored via your google sign-in, so no other app is needed to backup nor restore those items.
So, in summary using MBP, before I do a clean flash, I backup all my apps and in data, Call Logs, SMS, MMS, Bookmarks, and Dictionary. Once I've done a clean flash, I go to Google Play, re-install MBP (you _might_ be able to use MyBackupRoot, I had already paid), then restore most if not all my apps, reboot. Then as I get more comfortable, I go and use MBP to restore data (and I just check all the above) and have
never, ever, ever had any problems using this method for a long time.
good luck
