[Verizon] [rom]jbsourcery v5.4-lte[06/07/13] jb4.2.2 The Final Call

Wow, that was bizarre.

I was doing something rather benign and the system UI crashed. Tried to reboot and it bootlooped. Twice. I had to re-flash the ROM sitting here at Waffle House. The only change I made system - wise was a different boot animation.

I will monitor this and report any other anomalies.

Definitely let us know, wondering if this is a Rom manager issue like we have seen lately with installation failures

What icons are being used now for the phone, messaging, calendar, etc apps? Love them!! Is there a place to get them in case one wanted to use them on other ROMs?

i noticed the new icons too, they're squarish and look more like gingerbread. they're on a few jb roms i've tried, guess it's the new OS look. actually prefer the old ones, but google is trying to standardize the size of all the icons. ics icons vary (slightly) in size/position

The thing I like most is the dark color of the phone icon and the mms icon. Are those the inverted gapps? Never used those before and I downloaded from the regular gapps link.

To my knowledge, they look like the inverted gapps from previous. Both the inverted and normal gapps seem to produce the same resulting icons, on the 2.5 release.

That is where the emergency recovery option we have would of came in handy... it is designed to fix those unexpected boot-loops instead of flashing the entire rom. The only catch is you have to have it on you SD before this happens..

i specifically flashed non-inverted gapps and have the squarish icons....can't stand inverted gapps-what's the point of making things hard to see lol

It's not: I don't use ROM Manager and haven't for about a year now. It's not even installed.

They don't have grease, Pits. They cook everything in BUTTER, baby! :D

Waffle, 3 strips of bacon, 2 eggs medium, toast and grits in a bowl for $6.49 and tax. And it was DE-LISH!

alas, my diet prohibits me from any more waffle house. i do miss the plate of waffles/eggs/hash browns on top of a nice bed of grease (butter) :eating:

Exactly... Thats why I went back to 2.3!

i kinda like how they mixed and matched the gapps together b/c i like the inverted people and mms but the regular gvoice, talk, and google+. butttttttttttttttttttt thats just me... ;-) ;-)

im more concerned with the full 412 update lol. til then, back to football and nachos!!!!!!!!

I did a clean install of the latest version and I am missing my softkeys and notification/status bar?

Not my first rodeo, did I miss something. Flashed 2.5 and Gapps.

EDIT: Oops, haven't rebooted after initial bootup, doing that now.

My proximity sensor just stopped working today for some reason and there's nothing I can do to get it to function again. I figured it was a kernel issue (I normal run Franco's latest nightly r290 at the moment), but I've tried flashing the latest Trinity and Lean Kernel too (both latest stable and exp/alpha) with no change. I'm using Elixir 2 to test the sensor and it seems that the proximity sensor isn't even updating properly. It's graphing very slow and inconsistent sometimes, but it isn't changing at all when I do the proximity sensor test in the app. The phone also doesn't turn the screen off while I hold the phone to my face during calls, at least about 95% of the time now since it started doing it today.

I've had this issue before and it just randomly started working again. I think that was a while back on ICS though, when I was running Liquid Smooth ROMs. So maybe this isn't ROM specific..? Anyways, any help would be appreciated!

I'm on JBSourcery 2.4 right now. I never had any BT battery drain issues, so I didn't update to 2.5. I'm not sure why a small update like that warranted a whole .1 step up either..? I figured it should have been a patch update like 2.4.1, but I guess you couldn't dirty flash it for some technical reason, so you had to do a full wipe/reinstall, which would warrant a whole new version. :p

What c coincidence. I'm having the same problem, and it just started after updating to 2.4. Haven't updated to 2.5 yet. Should I, or is it something else? All I know is that the only thing that would maje the problem go away was a restart. Thanks in advance for looking into this.

Quick question guys..installing this on my wife's phone...does lockscreen circle break theme chooser theme?? I applied a theme then a lockscreen circle and it wouldn't boot past Google screen
