good question, also is this a "dirty" flash thing?

I JUST got 2.4 set-up, I'm running leankernal and not having any battery issues... Don't want to have to go through the set-up again

All I will say is that I dirty flashed, not the recommended route but did seem to be working for me. If you have issues then do a full wipe and install

Just reporting in...1 day on this Rom (2.5) with the trinity kernel..close to 2 hrs screen on, mostly 3g some WiFi, few phone calls and picture messages..not bad!! Can't wait to see how this settles as the kernel seems to be either min or max most of the time. No in between!!!
Also had about 20 min of 3g Pandora streaming today too

Try a reboot between flashing of kernels, since the point of doing this temp fix is to get system core values to flash in from franco's kernel a reboot might be needed for those to stick.

Hey thanks. I didn't want to have to redo a clean flash of 2.5 unless totally needed.

At first I thought this was silly since a flash of a new kernel was done in recovery and the phone (re)booted afterwards. However, I flashed the kernels I mentioned previously but did the reboots in between like you suggested and now my battery stats have stuck.

im happy to know dirty flashes work with this one cus to redo all that smh wouldve been a pain lol but then i see where he says the only difference in 25 and 24 is the bluetooth fix, still worth it tho ;-)

Loving 2.5 so far! Maybe I am missing it but is there a way to set a custom led notification for a missed call? I tried to set "phone" as red but it changes to "contacts"

Depends, items in the gapps come from whichever package you load and would work on any Rom. Have no clue where the moon gapps icons came from, assumed they were stock jb
