[Verizon] [rom]jbsourcery v5.4-lte[06/07/13] jb4.2.2 The Final Call

Okay, I am officially bewildered by some of these options.

What are lock screen glow dots and Pull Down mods?

It would be oh so helpful if the devs had an intro blurb in each mod section describing what the mod is and what it does - hint hint ;)

Lock screen mods are the circles you can choose. And the same for the dots going to them. They are in Settings > JBSourcery Tools

I flashed the denim phone pad last night and it's so cool.

on jellybean when you push your lockscreen button you see dots when you move it, its like a invisible dot, but your icon has a field around it that makes it visible, they are really nice

pulldown mods are your background images on your pulldown navigation bar

I'm noticing that the screenshots posted so far have the bottom menu buttons looking sort of neo-futuristic and streamlined, but I'm not really a fan. With all the customizations, I'm sure this is an obvious question, but I just wanted to make sure - are those fixed?

Nope. If you're referring to the bar across the very bottom (Home, Back, Recent App List, etc), they aren't fixed that way. It's under the Settings, JBSourcery Tools, then scroll to the Icons list, and Soft Keys. You have a bunch to choose from, including the stock ICS icons. You can also choose how many you want (if you want to say, add the search button there like previous versions), by going to the JB Control Center.

Holy shnizzballs - I didn't realize there was MORE in that menu!!!! Thanks for that info!!!

There are TONS of options to play with in those, I haven't even scratched the surface myself lol. The only reason I remembered those is cause I was just in there the other night. But being away from home, I hadn't toyed with the others yet! Keep us posted with any other goodies you figure out while in there too!

I did find that in changing my pulldown the system UI stops each time and my homescreen wallpaper goes to a jelly bean. Not a huge deal but if I was prone to changing them all the time it would probably get a little frustrating.

For some reason, I can't get the Navigation Bar button "Menu" to work. It either comes up as the 3 dots in place of the 3rd navi button, or it's white. Kinda weird...

Yeah, minor problem, It has been mentioned by the dev team. They are working on it, but if there is no fix, thats cool for me, I change backgrounds often anyway. imo the light mod for the drop down is way cool...lightening strike :)

Get yours!

That's the one I have too!!

dont think I saw this one answered by the great staff here... the pulldown mods are where you can add a different picture to the pull down notification screen.

THink of it as a pull down wallpaper

So I'm up and running 2.0 now and instantly loving it, like usual. Flashed LeanKernel 4.2 as well since that seemed to work well with 1.0 so we'll see how it goes.

But I do have one request for future builds, since I don't think it's something that can be implemented OTA, but would it be possible to have an option when installing individual mods to reboot later instead of immediately? That way we can install all the mods we want before having to reboot. Not sure if it's possible since the customization is so deep, but it'd definitely help out in the long run. If not, no problem, just a suggestion. Would love to hear feedback on this =)

ws waiting to see how long it took...

Didnt realize eagle kicked it off already

hope you enjoy it as much as I have this afternoon

Hey there, O Beloved ROM Developer (and trust me, you ARE beloved here!), is there a changelog anywhere we can read? I'd love to see what all could possibly be new :)

EDIT: Oh, no! My phone says Sourcery Tools has stopped unexpectedly! NOW WHAT?

there will be a changelog...
didnt want tio post it out opn the sites yet.. giving those who use the rom 1st crack at it.. not sure when eagle will start dropping the links on the forums

Biggest changes/additions I've seen so far are custom lockscreen targets and brightness bar in the status bar (both extremely welcome additions!)

Please don't post it publicly yet - I know that's a selfish request, but I think your server is already slammed by users trying to DL it. I can't get a thing to finish here :(
