Wait a minute: If the Gapps are the 7/26 Gapps (which I already have), why am I downloading it AGAIN and waiting for it to finish? I can just flash the Gapps I have! DUH :rolleyes:

Time to charge the phone and make a nandroid!
 
anyone know any good battery saving kernels that flow good with The Magic? i see lean has 4.3, any other good suggestions, im kinda just looking for battery life and cool temp, all that overclocking isnt necessary b/c the nexus is fast as it is even when i underclock between 900-1000, so i dont care about oc'ing to 1.5 ghz and whatnot ya know...

I've been using LeanKernel 4.2 but haven't had a fair chance to really judge it since I keep on playing with all of the customizations so I'm just plowing through the battery lol
 
lean is always good, ran on my og..so kinda stuck with it....
air kernel seems to be gaining a user base.

give a few a shot for a day or 2..
let us know how it works for you
 
FYI, seems we have been overwhelmed with downloads today/tonight..

We will be working on this and will have it resolved soon
 
ok thanks guys for the kernel advice. now to just flash the inverted gapps from rootzwiki, only thing is its one by one smh

after tht tho, i think i may be done flashing JB till KLP comes out...lmao
 
If I DLed and flashed the ADDON yesterday, then dirty flashed 2.0 tonight, do I have to reflash the ADDON again? Same question if I decide to Clean Flash...
 
First modification I tried to make was the Lock screen dot color and it required an auto reboot like usual. However, this time around the reboot has me in a loop (JB character in the JBSourcery hat) for 10 minutes. Time to CLEAN flash? And if so...do I just do a battery pull at this point? Thanks.
 
Just did a Dirty Install on mine. Initial Boot animation freaked me out a half second, and made me go "NOOO! What hit my screen!" til I realized what it was. Optimized my 91 apps (dunno who was counting, I sure wasn't). I'd say total time from starting to finish was maybe 3 minutes, not counting DL time. So far, so good (other than having to reset my weather on my Three Rings Clock for whatever reason. Will report any issues tomorrow as I put it through the day.

I did completely forget about gapps at first, and was wondering why my bars weren't blue at all.

NOTE: I did get an installation aborted message when trying to load the "new" gapps download, so I went back and re-loaded the original package, and re-signed in. All is well!

Again, awesome work! Soon as my check gets here, you guys are getting some of it!
 
Have to say, I've tried the ICS version back a few months, had ALOT of bad experiences with it. First it bricked my phone (easy fix luckily) and also the phone would freeze from time to time. Decided I'd try my luck one last time, and holy cow! Im blown!

Go figure though... I'd try out this ROM, spent 2 hours customizing it, 3 hours later a notice pops up saying 2.0 is released and a clean wipe recomended :rolleyes:

Only 2 wishes from me, first i'd like a easier way to quickly view the mod, like a screenshot right next to it, like how it is in themes.
second, out of all the customizations, i can't get it to how i want it, i want it to look like it was devolped by Cerberus (Like in Mass Effect :D )

but great job otherwise ;)
 
Glad you gave us a shot again.

1. the mods do have a preview.. once you select it, before you download is the picture or clip of the mod
2. not sure what you are looking for here..
