[Verizon] [rom]jbsourcery v5.4-lte[06/07/13] jb4.2.2 The Final Call

very early in the game with a brand new operating system... already have targets added back... things just take time.
The multiple widgets refers to the list available to add to the lockscreen. The default from google was 5 default widgets, this allows all of your widgets available to be used.

for weather, im using Beautiful widgets 4X1, get time and weather and ability to customize the heck out of it... works perfectly for my needs

yeah my bt headset has disconnected and reconnected a couple times on a few 4.2.1 roms i've tried. happened once earlier today on this rom, hasn't happened since. seems to be a jelly bean bug.

Didn't mean to sound ungrateful, one minor quibble totally outweighed by how great everything else is out of the box. Thanks for all the hard work - it shows!

happens when google puts out a new operating system everytime you turn your head. most phones are 1-2 OS's behind. you guys did good with this new one for sure. snappiest sourcery rom yet.
 
i keep having a problem with google play music where the volume increase I set in trickster mod doesn't kick in unless i go into the equalizer. then it goes back off once i change songs. does anyone know of a solution to this?
 
After doing a none headed mistake and losing all my stuff I had to go back to factory and re root my phone. The new 4.2.1 is up and running smoothly so far. Is the patch needed?
 
Just to be clear, are most of the existing mods found in sourcery tools not going to work on this build? I tried the cobalt system pngs and notification icons and a linux boot animation and they all said they worked but I got no auto reboot like I usually do following install (of system png's in particular) and once I manually rebooted everything was still the same including the stock boot animation. No big deal, just wondering.

That aside, this rom is smoking fast. Far and away the most responsive sourcery rom. And once again, you guys have more options than any other 4.2 I've seen so far anyway. Great job, here's hoping for solid battery life, that'd be the icing on the cake.

I have a question about the Maximus inverted gapps on your guys page. I installed the Maximus gapps pack and I love everything about it, except the inverted Facebook. It seems very unresponsive and such so I tried uninstalling and freezing in TiBu so that I could try reinstalling the regular Facebook through the play store but no dice. It just let's me re enable it.

Anyone have any ideas?

the statusbar mods, dont need a reboot. the systemui will reset itself automatically. The cobalt in particular I know works as Ive modified it in the last few days. Check your toggles, should look much different. For boot animations, you get a small note at the bottom of the screen that it has finished.. next reboot you should see the new animation. I just installed 1 as I typed this and it is working.

delete facebook app using root explorer.. reboot.. then install the facebook from the market. should work for you that way
 
LOVE this new ROM! One quick question 'cause "dummy me" forgot - How do I change the lockscreen wallpaper? I vaguely remember doing that before but for the life of me can't find it now. Just want a plain black backround so I can see my keypad for PIN unlock better. THANKS!!!

Thanks for the awesome work on this ROM!

I was wondering if there's a "sound boost" mod built into this ROM? I was looking through the settings but didn't see one. I figured I'd ask because there's so many options I may have missed it :)
 
I lost my nav bar. Can't get it back no matter what. Things I have tried:

  • Change number back to 3
  • Reseting height back to default
  • Changing the soft keys layout to various layouts including stock
  • Wiped catch and dalvik
  • Wipe catch and dalvik and dirty flashed rom and gaaps

I really didn't want to do a clean install again. I had that text batman softkeys with 36dpi height and it was working before. I rebooted 3 times already with no luck. I am using Franco nightly with default settings, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Any ideas? Note one thing I did try was to setup the 5th key to display toggles. That's when it crashed.
 
OK up and running and loving the newest version. One thing I am missing is when I am on the lock screen the lock circle no longer vibrates. I am wondering if I am missing something. I have it ticked to vibrated on the lock screen feature but it doesn't.
 
In its current state, does this ROM have the ability to have the brightness slider bar directly in the navigation pull down like before, or is it only through the toggles now.... two extra clicks just to get my beloved slider bar! Thanks for all the great work on this ROM. Love it!

Hate to annoy, but where is this found? I can only find a brightness slider in the Statusbar Toggles as an "Enabled toggle". Then i have to pull up the toggles, click on the brightness slider, then it pops up.

I must be missing something. THanks.
 
Does the Awesome Beats mod in your ROM do anything to increase ringtone volume? I really miss Volume+ from ICS and am still looking for a suitable JB replacement.
