What do you mean "lock screen targets" I use a pattern lock and I can swipe right to bring up the Camera or Left to bring up multiple applications (I currently only have "flashlight" selected.

I did see a setting for setting "targets" from a "lock symbol" I haven't played with that because I always use some sort of lock.

Targets are shortcuts to various apps right from the lockscreen. So instead of pulling the lock across to open to your homescreen, you pull it to a target you set and it goes right into that app. You've answered my question. Thanks!

This is by far the most feature rich rom. I LOVE it and recommend to EVERYone who puts any value in my contributions here on AF. I love my features. This satisfies.
 
anyone flash the 4.0 patch yet? i started having issues sending mms and choppiness after i flashed it.

(clean) reflashing the rom now, not going to flash that patch again. it ran beautifully until i flashed that patch.


EDIT: running beautifully again :D:D
 
One feature I used to love about Sourcery was the fact that I could choose the boot animation, but I can't seem to find that in this 4.2.1 release... Am I missing something?

Everything else is running great. Stock Sourcery kernel is awesome and so far this is the best battery life I've ever gotten on Sourcery!
 
I was out almost all day after I flashed 4 from rc5 and i didn't have any cell service.
Downloaded directly to my phone verified the download and clean install and loaded the latest gapps 1130. When I finally noticed that i didn't have cell service I wiped the phone and reloaded rc5 again with the minimalist inverted gapps but that didn't help.
How can I check to see if I screwed up and downloaded a toro plus ROM instead of toro?
If that isn't the problem, some one knocked my phone out of my hand during the day and it fell like two feet to the floor. Not sure if that could've physically broken the phone on the inside.

Thanks in advance for any help. This ROM is the best!!!
 
The patch for 4.2 simply corrects the back button not closing out the pulldown screen and adding a windows animation.

It would have no affect on the messaging app or cause lag. Probably a case of coincidence or not giving the rom time to settle in.

Viper, in the toolbox, scroll over to the mods section...Boot Animations is the 2nd one down in the list.

the rom was running snappy as hell/no mms probs before i flashed that patch, and is again now that i re-flashed the rom.

i'll try the patch again, maybe i got a bad download or something

What is the file name that was downloaded to your phone?
In the toggles section, look at your signal toggle. does it show any connection? toggle 4g on and off.. anything? do you get wifi signal?

if no to all of those then the drop may have affected your phone.

The file name is JBSourcery-LTE-V4.0zip 119.73mb. WiFi works! The toggle is just the triangle on its side with nothing in it. Toggled 4g on and off and nithing happened.
When I reflashed the rc5 it did say something about the Sim card because I wasn't in a WiFi area.

The file is indeed Verizon.
Sounding like if your being asked about Sim card that there are other issues. Try installing a more stock rom, see if the same issues persist, if so then I would suggest taking your phone back to stock and re-rooting.

Ok cool, gonna start the long process to coping the sdcard to the pc then take the phone back to stock. If it works I will root again and if not I will have to go to Verizon.

hate giving that answer.. but when adding in a drop around the same time issues presented..hard to tell either way.. hoping re-rooting does it for you!!!

I use Bt in my vehicle and is working correctly. other than that really cant comment on the BT

I totally agree. The "official" lock screen widgets are a step backward for me since they are 1 widget per page. I wish there was a way to get the old JB weather back on the main lock screen.
