[Verizon] [ROM]JDX (formerly Jelly Belly) AOSP+ - v15 (7/28)

I am really sad!! I just redid everything. Went back to stock, locked the phone, unlocked it, rooted it and then installed 11.0 and 120212 gapps.
When I try Wallet, all I get is a white screen and then setting up Wallet, this may take up to 5 minutes, circle spinning counter clockwise and then nothing happens.

This phone just came in from Asurian. Never had any such issues with the other phone.

I hope there is a fix for this.

I agree with Ryan, it might be a secure element issue, i am using sourcery 4.0, android 4.21 and am having no issues. I do however reset wwallet before I flash.

Sorry but I am not sure what that means. Is there hope?

I am still looking to see if we can find a solution. I Hope there is hope... Don't give up yet.
Most of what I am seeing is the following 3 options.... ReRoot(done), edit the build.Prop file, or replace the phone via assurion... Just keep in mind this is researched, not fact... Meaning that I have not done it, and cannot verify that it works for me.
Check out this link...

However, I just went back this morning, rerooted and set back up the wallet... And it took almost 10 min for the dang thing to get past that first set up screen... Wth? I just kept touching the screen, and moved so that I was in a good Wifi spot... Weird. Its all back up and running but to be honest I thought I killed it.

I just un installed and re installed wallet. It did take a long time to work, but it is fully back. I like the idea of seeing if nfc works on the phone. Is it enabled in settings ? Also, try Ryans work around with a fresh apk from his Dropbox. Let us know.

I think there is something wrong with the NFC on the phone. Have you tried other NFC apps to see if they work?

NFC works. Wallet doesn't even after installing the apk. I have a feeling it has to do with the Sim card of the new phone. I am going to ask for a replacement phone tomorrow. Any suggestions as to how I should handle it so that wallet would work?

I can't decide what I like more... Jelly Belly or the unofficial build posted in the AOKP thread very recently. Thank you nandroids!

Merry Christmas y'all,

jmar

Well can you believe it? It is because of me turning on my talkaton on my iPad. I turned that off and Voice is now OK.

Morning all....

Here is all the information that we have received from the dev regarding moving into 4.2.2:

Quote from Jakeday:
I have a source that provided the changes making up 4.2.2 which have yet to be pushed to aosp. This person is a good friend of mine that I've worked on Android projects with for the past few years, so I trust this friend.

As far as changes, the main focus in 4.2.2 was fixing the performance issues apparent in 4.2 and 4.2.1, and I believe they nailed it.
______________________________________________

Personally, I have to agree. Whether the changes were pulled from the Nexus 4 google updates, or from a developers version of AOSP.....I am not sure at this point where the changes came from.

All I can say is that Jakeday outdid himself on this ROM. Absolutely upgraded my phone. And I will look forward to other ROMS with the same changes in the future. But for now, I am still staying with JellyBelly.
