lol i feel ya on that one, I agree my only gripe is battery and 4g drops. Hopefully this update does the trick that would be awesome.
It has been posted numerous times in this thread alone that people who are rooted have received the update. Wait til next week, if you still dont have it ask a Metro store rep what to do. If you have to bring it in, unroot the phone, install bloatware and go from there.

I'm curious if your phone was shut off or in some different state that you didn't get the update.

well I had my phone on the charge as usual..so i left for my desk disconnected the phone and left it. When I came back after 6 hours the phone was black out(battery drainned) so I plugged it back in and thats about it. No updates nothing new. Check the "about phone" and it still has the old build model

I sleep in Long Island, NY in an area where there is no 4G would I still get my update? I spend all day in NYC do I need to have 4G turn on to get update?
4g is nto required for the update

I agree with you 100% this is Samsung's fault. They should push this kind of updates all the time and to everybody. or add the manual check up.

I wonder is Metro the one picking certain handsets or is it Samsung doing this?. Because we have some indulge users across the tri state area saying "i got the update" and others users in the same area that haven't gotten it.

I'm a new customer..only a week so maybe the new customers are getting it first?
I don't know so maybe people can chime in ..or is it the area code they go by.. I picked a 212 because it's known all over the world as NYC and good for business
