I hope you didn't have to go too far out of your way to get to the corporate store ...after all that it can get frustrating.
Well at least you got a brand new phone.
Now I'm wondering if other's who didn't get the update might need a new phone because something might be wrong with some of them.
What was her explanation for giving you a new phone ?
She had no explanation. She basically said "ok, so I've given you a new phone..." It was closing time at the store, and I had groceries with me, so didn't want to belabor the point. I assume that she was having problems getting the update to take on my old phone. Although I will say that now 4G works intermittently, but it does come on. With my old phone, I never showed a 4G connection the day after I left the store, so I suspect that something might have been wrong with the phone, and she realized it.
Fortunately, the corporate store is only about 15 minutes from my office, so it's not that hard to get there.
And still no update. I have a trouble ticket on this issue (the lack of 4G), so maybe when they resolve the trouble ticket, it'll get pushed to the phone.
