I have been running the .bat file when the phone is booted up (not in recovery). Doing a backup now. Will edit the .bat file as you suggest and try again... although see my comment below.
I did not have a factory reset-- all my apps were still there.
I have Superuser. I checked and found it was not up to date-- I had 1.0.1.7 and I've now upgraded to 1.0.3.0 .
I'll try the install again with the upgraded Superuser. If it still fails I'll edit the script as suggested above and try it that way.
Thanks to both of you for your interest and ongoing suggestions.
1. Tried the original install.bat after the Superuser upgrade. Same failure: still goes to regular Android recovery. No other discernible anomalies (e.g., I have not lost my yahoo and twitter logins).
2. Edited install.bat as suggested. Same results as noted in (1).
So I still have not been able to install CWMT Recovery.
Any other suggestions?
