What is the coolest thing you do with your DX?

My Tracks is awesome! I use to when I take friends out on the boat and put marks where we catch fish and spot tuna/whales. I then send them the map and they are floored. It makes for a great boating fishing log so I use it every time I'm on the water.

Use it to control my entire house via the home automation system. Can arm/disarm security alarm, turn lights on/off, make a movie/TV show start playing on a TV (great for when my parents watch the kids), monitor what people are watching on TV (great for checking on babysitters), view CCTV cameras, etc, etc, etc.[/QUOTE

What app monitors what is watched on tv? I have verizon mobile remote but that just changes channels right?

Okay that proves that Phineas and Ferb DID create the Droid X, lol.

I love that show. The theme song is actually one of my ringtones that I use!

All of my ringtones are theme songs that I shuffle using ShuffleTone 2.0. Really cool app that shuffles my ringtone so I have a different one for every phone call. I have Phineas and Ferb, Warehouse 13, X Files, Fringe, House, Indiana Jones, The Simpsons, Two and a Half Men, Resident Evil, etc and many more.

Here's the coolest.
I got voice to text to recognize:

"Antidisestablishmentarianism"
No, still watching pr0n
People like this are what make me love this forum.

I hear the next project is an N64 emulator... talk about Super Smash or Goldeneye. YES!
Seriously?! IT'S ON LIEK DONKEH KONG! (literally)

Probably my two favorite N64 games ever were, "The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time," and, "Donkey Kong 64." Don't get me wrong, there were plenty other great games, like Super Smash Bros., but those two are the first that come to mind when I think of my N64.

Could you upload some of those themes please? :D I watch Warehouse 13 and Fringe constantly, as well as many many others.

Last night I went ahead and edited out the credits of an episode of Samurai Jack, then stripped the audio, and finally upped the volume levels once I had decent spacing on either side and a nice fade-in.

I'm currently using this on my LG Voyager while I await my DX shipment. I think it turned out great and I'm pretty sure I nailed the volume levels.

I actually use SageTV for my DVR system. I also use a pretty heavy grade automation system called CQC. It controls/monitors major systems in the house including the SageTV system. I can monitor what is being recorded or played, or even start playing a new show, etc. So while the Sage system will work on its own (like the other major systems in the house), CQC ties it all together.

What is the best way to upload files, this will be a first for me? I know, its sad. Or I can just pm the ringtones to you and you can upload them. I am always willing to help out the forum community.
I made all the ringtones on my phone using ringdroid, the files I didn't already have I got from musicjunk on my phone.

I haven't really done anything cool with my phone but I have used the Fake-Call Me app to get myself out of boring and/or awkward conversations with people. It works like a charm every time. I love it.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned augmented reality apps. Yelp Monocle and Google Sky Maps blow everyone away. Also, I get a smug sense of superiority knowing that iPhone users don't get to use sky maps. It was really useful during the last meteor shower when I needed to find Perseus.

Playing Pokemon Emerald and Chrono Trigger is pretty sick too. Might get the psx emulator and try some mobile FFVII.

Playing NHL 94 on Gensoid. I have it on my D1 too, but the extra screen real estate on the DX makes the game much more playable.

LOL I've been wanting to do that even when I got my Ally. Hopefully I'll get the chance with my X some day. :)

I love the great moving, zoomable weather radar available from Weatherbug Elite, $3 onetime fee, it is SO practical when you are doing outdoor activities and sports all day ! (And the browsing is wonderful !)
