I'm sure Honeycomb was just for tablets, and not phones, etc. Also from what I seen here in China, many tablet makers went straight from 2.3 Gingerbread to 4.0 ICS, and skipped 3.0 Honeycomb completely.

Honneycomb is also the current standard for GoogleTV, until they finally update the devices to 4.2.2 like they promised.

Next week will be a year ago I voted in this poll. :D

I think I just had gotten ICS 4.0.3 on my Galaxy S2. Now its Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and 4.2.2 on my S4.

 oh yeah, i wasnt logged in lol

Chinese phones, often there isn't much if any ROM development available for them. Sometimes there's more information available on Chinese forums, if you can read Chinese that is.

A fair point, but other Huawei models have some decent support (including 2-3 with officially supported CWM recoveries) so it's mainly my particular model.

It's a little bit of a pain because there's the Wind version in Canada that comes with ICS, and the T-Moble "MyTouch" with Gingerbread, so a number of the online info was geared towards the Gingerbread version

Eh, as I said, works fine rooted as is.

really really hope klp comes to our s3 :D

if not, i suppose i can settle with 4.2 whenever it becomes official lol

I think we'll get another couple of major updates tbh mate.
Ive abandoned samsung firmware completely though. Running 4.2.2 on AOKP so my phones future is in the hands of the devs and i like it that way :)

HTC evo v 3d 4g ICS (current phone)
Samsung galaxy nexus JB
HTC inspire (desire) HD 4g GB
Kyocera rise ICS
HTC wildfire GB

For how much I really don't like HTC sense, I've certainly had my share of HTC lol. Also in case your wondering why I switched from nexus to HTC eco v, its because I wanted off contract phones...

That's the way to go, was running cm 10.1 on my sequent for a few. Switched back to my personal tweaked stock rom waiting for stock jb ota. Camera isn't working, MMS and sometimes sounds if your wondering why I went back to stock lol.

Lol yeah i couldnt use an incomplete rom with things like camera missing, im not that much of an android diehard lol. Version im using seems to have everything though. I even got the wifi tethering to work using a different kernel.
Respect to the AOKP team
