I smoked a ham at the cabin for guests yesterday. Naturally it was a lot more ham than needed. Tonight I'm having ham and baked sweet potatoes again. Tomorrow I will make ham salad out of the ham I didn't freeze. In the freezer I have a large meal of ham for the future as well as the shank bone that will be ham and beans sometime.Awesome, I love supporting local family places. Good to hear third generation. We are having a night out at my favorite Mexican restaurant. This is a third generation family restaurant that I've been a patron of for over fifty years. The business is now ran by the brother and sister that waited on us and who bussed the tables years ago. Excellent food at a decent price is part of the calling. Knowing the owners who still work at their craft and take pride in serving their customers well speaks volumes for the establishment.
