i have a feeling our season will mirror the Lakers' season with all of our injuries....what a crazy start to the season we are having.....hopefully we can get all healthy and make a run after the all star break.

and i can't believe that people are talking about don mattingly and his job security. i think he has done an incredible job so far......i hope we keep him. it is not his fault that we are hurt.

I agree. It will help that Greinke is being activated today to start tonight's game vs. WSH.

yeah but oh what a month it has been!!!!!!!!!! best since Joe DiMaggio!!!!!!!

we are out of the gutter and knocking on the door of winning our division......and who gets overlooked right now? hanley ramirez!!!!!! hitting over .400.....and not to mention we just picked up nalasco from the marlins!!!! and management has said that they are not done yet....probably will pick-up somebody for the bullpen(not mamrmol).

can't wait for the second half to start!!!!!!

Rumor has it that Coletti and Cashman have been talking about sending Joba + Hughes to LAD for Puig :p:p:p
 
oh god no!!!!!!!.............that would be very dumb of my dodgers to do something like that.

puig is our future and if anything we better get something better the joba and hughes!!!!! i can't think of anybody on ny that i would want on my team at the moment......lol

Sounds like you forgot about the best 2B in baseball? I was also jk about the trade.
 
7 Year, $100 million extension for Pedroia. Keeps in until 2021. Good deal for the Sox, bad news for Cano. I know he will make more for than Pedroia and is probably worth more, but it's hard to see him getting $6-8 million AAV more to put him in the range of rumors prior to this.

Pedroia isn't worth all that $, imo. However, like you said, Cano won't be getting any kind of mega deal because Pedroia more or less just set the standard for All-Star 2B's. I'm thinking Cano will stick around for 7 years - $115M.
