What's your favorite MLB team?

Good riddance, really can't stand Braun ever since that test fiasco last year

It's not fun :( I'm a Brewers fan, and I live just a few minutes away from the stadium.

He lied and it doesn't sound like he has many fans that will support him anymore after that. A lot of people have changed their Braun shirts to say "Fraud" now :) true!

Aoki all the way!!! #7

Going to a game in just over a week anyways, last in the division and our top player is a druggy, whatever lol that's why there's beer :beerglass:

From what I am reading MLB has a boatload of evidence and contradictions in testimony, plus obstructing the investigation while A-Rods defense would be "I was singled out and that's not fair, boo hoo." I could be wrong, but I don't see how that would bring MLB down.

More so along the lines of multiple parties conspiring against him to keep him off of the field, etc..

^^yep

Oh wait tack on one more to that :p

So I was watching the Red Sox vs. Tigers game and it was 3-2 Detroit in the third, so I switched over to the discovery channel. I just checked my phone and saw the final score was 20-4 Boston.

Game last night hurt to watch. Reds lost in the 16th....

On a positive note, the fastest man in baseball (Billy Hamilton) made his major league debut.

They brought him in to pinch run. Cardinals knew he was going to steal, Molina knew he was gonna steal, everyone in the stadium knew he was gonna steal...

And no one could do a thing to stop him :)

yeah well i can believe they swept my boys in blue......i think we peaked to early:(

I'm a SF Giants and Oakland A's fan since I'm from the Bay Area, CA. But, if I had to pick between the two, it'd be the A's. The first baseball game I ever went to was an A's game.

hopefully my boys in blue can now start to get healthy again as we got to starters back today.....just in time to clinch the division and start to hit it in stride when the playoffs roll around.

yeah he is a beast.......12 strike outs!!!!!!!

i'm just glad the boys finally gave kershaw some run support for him.

up next greinke:smokingsomb:

I imagine the Dodgers will be going after some pen arms in the off-season. That offense doesn't need much help outside of getting Ethier back on track. Surprisingly good chemistry.

As for Greinke, he's still under contract until 2018 (I think), so won't need to do much of anything with him for a while. Puig will prob command some $ if he still can contribute offensively. Dodgers need to teach that boy some damn discipline though. Kid does whatever the hell he wants on the field. They don't complain because they are winning, but that kind of behavior is unacceptable imo.

Crawford's contract is an albatross though.

you can't control a free spirit like puig......i would not want to leash that beast up.....we have plenty of bats ahead and behind him so he can be aggressive there......the rest he will learn as he gets more experienced.....puig is the least of Dodgers worries.

as far as Crawford goes as long as he is healthy.....i can take that contract.

are pen has been pretty decent this year, but i agree. we could use one more solid starter for the regular season.....i mean volquez sucked, capuano was mediocre as was fife. hopefully we can get a healthy biilingsley next year.

however, i really like how our playoff pitchers. i mean kershaw, greinke, ryu, and nolasco? that is a great group right there and will be able to takes us all the way to the World Series IMO:smokingsomb:

It's really just Belisario that needs to be replaced in the pen. He's been awful. Dodgers like his low money controlled contract, but is he worth all of the issues that he's been thus far? Only time will tell.

Yeah I hate him too to be honest though he had pitched much better this year then last year. I would not be sad if they got rid of him in the off season.

Ah, the Yankee gallery heard from:p:rofl:

At least you have us past the Rays already.:D

I have been saying all along that I didn't want the Yankees to make the playoffs this year. We played like turd and we didn't deserve to make it in. I'm surprised we even won 85 games. Realistically, we're a .500 team this season based on some sabermetrics. If we did make the playoffs though, Girardi should have won Manager of the Year. Hell, I think he should win the award regardless, but he won't.

But yeah, the Rays can't handle the Boston offense. However, Detroit is a different story altogether. They have EVERYTHING (except defense, lol).

It all depends on the pitchers, and how slow or fast they are. Big innings also lead to longer games.
