O.K., as a Dodger fan, here's my take on the NLCS. With Kemp out, Ethier not back in playing shape, and Ramirez getting a fractured rib, they are effectively done. Hitting Ramirez, took away their best chance of winning. I don't "think" that it was done intentionally, but what better way to insure that the opposing team didn't have a fighting chance? What would have happened if the Dodgers had drilled Holliday or Molina in retaliation? I would have done it, just to send a message to the Cardinals, that the price of victory is very high. Now we'll never know who the better team really was. Something doesn't smell right to me. His first time up, in the first inning of the first game, and Ramirez is taken out of the equation? It's a cheap victory for the Cadinals, in my opinion.
i'm a huge dodger fan as well, but i do not condone retaliation like that. the Ramirez hit was not intentional.....if anything i would have given someone a brush back or something....but evening the odds like that is not good sportsmanship IMO.
that said.....it aint done until the fat lady sings......talk to Kirk Gibson about that or the 1988 Dodgers.
Ramirez is back in the lineup and so is Eitheir. Both will have an effect on how they pitch to them so any little bit will help.....i do agree that they have an uphill battle, but i still believe.
KEEP THE FAITH

I'm not sure, but I know how this one worked out!Let's see now...Weren't the Cards up three games to one against the Giants, recently? How did that work out for you?
I'm not sure, but I know how this one worked out!
O.K., Kershaw may have gotten squeezed on some pitches, but the better team won. Congratulations!
Hah. I guess I was wrong altogether. However, I'm going w/ the Cards on this one. I'll be wearing my "Buck Foston!" t-shirt for the entire series. Lol
Just for you buddy
Jeter is developing some moobs though
Jeter missing a good chunk of this year will probably cost him whatever chance he might have had at catching Pete Rose. Going to be a lot harder now.
