What's your favorite MLB team?

It all depends on the pitchers, and how slow or fast they are. Big innings also lead to longer games.

or how many pitchers are used......they get 8 warm up pitches when they come in to the game......so that takes time.

man!!!!!!! my boys in blue almost had that gamble of starting kershaw on 3 days rest not pay off for them.....almost....LOL

It's not like Kershaw pitched poorly. I'd take Kershaw on 3 days of rest over Nolasco any day of the week.

No he pitched brilliantly, it is just we almost lost!!!!! Not sure what would have happened if it were not for juribe's homerun.

Not sure who I want to root for in the St Luis vs Pitt series.......probably Pitt for home field advantage.

Looks like the NLCS is locked up. Now just until tomorrow night to see who's going to the ALCS.

Dodgers vs Cards will be an entertaining series.. to say the least.

Yes, the Cardinals won, even though I was pulling for the Pirates! But now I'll take the Cards over the Dodgers...

yeah i am glad it is the cards.....gonna be a great series i hope.....still hoping for a dodger vs red sox series;)

Not happening. Tigers vs Dodgers in the WS this year. Everything is falling into place like I predicted.

As great as that would be, I really doubt that they will get past the Dodgers in the NLCS.

I'm an O's fan but the BoSox are tearing it up. I just wish they'd lose the beards. They look like hillbillies. lol

The Sox and Dodgers would be a good series!

They remind me of the Duck Dynasty folk. However, once you're on a streak.. you can't possibly shave the beard. Baseball is all about superstition.

Back when I used to play, I wouldn't change my undies if I put together a streak of winning starts. Lol.

Well, I hate to tell you this but the Cardinals are very very lucky when it comes to the playoffs! ;)

One down, three to go!

And also lucky that you're facing a very hurt team right now.

No Kemp, Ethier, or Ramirez......the only threat we have now is Adrian Gonzalez and Puig....which you can hit around, so yeah....lucky is a good word:mad:

Either way, damn good game tonight. I still don't know how they didn't score on that bases loaded sit w/ no outs.

Yeah lucky that you guys hit Ramirez out of the line up for today.........extremely lucky:mad:

I don't think Ramirez would have fared too well against Michael Wacha anyway. The kid has great stuff, as proven by his previous 2 starts.

Cards have Waino going tonight, good chance the Cards go up 3-0.

Not tonight. I'll take Ryu in L.A. Dodgers play great at home, and if we can get Ramirez into the line-up, the Blue Crew should win tonight.:)

I have heard Ryu may be hurt.

Waino has been dominant the past 6 weeks. I don't expect the Dodgers slumping lineup to break out against his nasty curve.

Where did you hear that Ryu may be hurt? Dodgers website says that he's pitching tonight. We'll see what happens. GO DODGER BLUE!!!:p

His last outing they had Dodgers medical staff out to watch Ryu pitch before the game and then there was his horrible start that led to speculation that he was hurt which I guess continued before this game.

If he was really hurt, I doubt that they would put him in the game. They could have stayed Capuano or Nolasco instead.....but he is starting.......so we should be fine.

I think we will bounce back today with both Ramirez and Either starting.

If y'all can only score 2 runs against basically our 4th and 5th starters in 2 games, I don't expect a hurt Ramirez and Ethier to help. But good luck, but I think the Cards score at least 5 and Waino shuts the Dodgers down, keeping them to 2 or less.

Well we are hitting .184 this series and you guys are hitting .134.

Our issue is that we are 1-15 with runners in scoring position.....if we can fix that then we will be fine.......I think if we went 3-15 we would be up 2-0 rather then the other way around.......this series is so close and that is why my boys in blue are not panicking.

I have to say, this series so far is one of the best I have ever seen pitching wise. 9 runs scored, 4-5 runs in favor of the Dodgers. Pretty evenly matched as far as I can tell.

May the better team win.
