Root Whats Your Favorite ROM?

I haven't yet... But I'll be looking now. I did see in another forum where they used your greentheme and installed eyecandy as well. They said after installing the eyecandy theme, bits of the greentheme was left behind leaving a cool interface. They was right. I love the eyecandy stuff along with the green glow of the green theme.
Upgrading to the 7/25 ROM now and using your install instructions of not formating the data so the game and other data will remain. Not sleeping on the couch tonight depends on it. ;)
Maybe you could post a screen shot of that cool theme.

You think sleeping on the couch is bad, try falling asleep at your comuter desk while compiling Android from source! ;)
Bet you wear a neck brace a lot. EDIT: WOW! That was so much easier just wiping the cache partition, and Dalvik cache. Did not even have to sign in with my google account. Every app was right were I left them. Launcher Pro and all seven screens had just the right picture. COOL! I forgot to include Green Machine Theme,so I'll just reboot the ROM a couple of times then flash the theme. Thanks JerryScript, that saved my a couple hours of work. EDIT: Alllriiiight got the GREEN MACHINE theme back.

To tell you the truth, I haven't used eyecandy separate from any other theme. But yeah the 'green' is just too obvious to be in eyecandy. Unless I'm totally wrong, in which case you may now whip me with a wet noodle.

that theme does look kinda cool

the easter eggs are the images, i didnt find an extra images to the ones i have already. i stumbled upon jerry's post dated sometime late june, i think, last night and in it he said the images were the eggs. you are supposed to get by going through all cmod settings hitting the menu key.
btw id like to say i tried athenos cmod rom as well. another, great rom. comprable to IHO, but i think there were a few things not working as gool as they do on IHO. I had less fc's but i think the ones i encountered in IHO were due to me trying to save some of them on the sdcard. it seems even if you move some apps to the the card once and move it back you still will get the occaisional close. im gonna try not moving certain ones on the card at all, i.e. pandora (and a few others). i never move any system apps to the card as this seems to surely be a bad idea. jerryscript and all the other devolper's like him are some bad a** Mo Fo's! you guys are awesome! thank all of you for making things like this available to us that have the want to customize our phones, but dont have the know how!

also i think above yogi mentioned losing information on angry birds. if you are using titanium backup as your app backup you can just make a restore of angrybirds right before you go into boot recovery to install your next rom. this will keep a current restore point (also works if an app gets updated) and then when you reinstall the app select app+data and you will be where you left off. the method mentioned earlier works, but if you ever install a rom that will require you to wipe all data then you can use this titanium backup method

Thank you for pointing out something that seemed to have escaped our attention. I know this I just forgot it(I hate getting older-50 is peeking around the corner)

Since installing build # 07212011 of the BACKside ROM (CM7) + Green Machine Theme, my phone now wakes when I press the hard keys on the front. I'm running at 787Hz-480Hz with no profiles. The hottest day so far my battery never got over 39c while near the windshield of the car(I live in Southern Florida). I have been off charge for 13hours 15min,and still have 49% battery. I did have Green power free installed but it started to mess up my WiFi(doesn't like this ROM I guess) so I went back to Juice Defender. The only thing that has been giving me fits is the Gallery,it has gotten worse. It takes forever to load and is not displaying all my pictures(had to forceclose it once so far) I am waiting for the day that someone finally figures out how to fix the WiFi,but this ROM is so Cool that I can wait no problem. There going to come out with another update soon. I will download and flash that when it hits the threads. Curiosity will get the better of me. EDIT:just after coming out of the gallery and clicking on WiFi the "V" froze! Had to pull battery. Hmmm! It sure would be nice if this gets fixed in the next couple off builds.

You may be overclocked too high, that will make apps like the gallery give you freezes/FCs. There is an included app called Dev Tools, and it has a feature called Media Scanner, run it and see if your gallery performs better.

Many people don't like the standard gallery, and find QuickPic to be a much faster option.

Thanks JerryScript, Allways got the right answer to solve a problem(might have to start calling you the Shell Answer Man)

Ran Media Scanner after the Gallery didn't show any images. Now the gallery shows all my images and there are none blank. Opened Gallery on the previous build and the images showed with none blank. I've been running @768 Mhz with ONEDEMAND on. I had it set at 787 but random boots started happening. 768 seems to be most stable... at least with my phone.
Yeah, juice defender likes my phone too. Still having power drain problems though. Think I'll turn my GPS off and see what happens.

GPS is a major battery drain. I have a GPS and Bluetooth Widget on the page with all the in car stuff, like Nav. and maps, and weather.I only turn them on when I need them, and turn them right off when I'm done. I also turn the WiFi toggle off in the car just in case.

Yeah, you can toggle them with the status bar pull down. But I do have a WiFi widget on my home page just for a little easier access. It's still doing random reboots though. :(

HMMM? sound like a job for the Shell Answer Man,dun duta duuuun. Female:Who was that masked computer programmer. Little Tommy: Wow! That was the Shell Answer Man.

LOL, I had to Wiki the 'Shell Answer Man'. I vaguely remember him. Gonna have to hit youtube and find some old commercials.

Media Scanner, and bumping CPU Speed down a notch worked. It seemed to mellow out the volume spikes on DPS Manager. And the gallery is only missing one image(if I select it it appears). Remember.....(I'm not just a member,I'm a "Nuub")

The widget in the notification dropdown can be removed in settings, and then you can long-press on the desktop and select widgets, then choose Power Control, and you can customize the widget as you please to place on the desktop. ;)

(I'm not just a member,I'm a "Nuub") I'm having a hard time following your instructions on how to change the widget. Where in settings should I be looking, can't seem to find it. Would like to change out the Bluetooth widget for something more useful.

Thanks,it was the going in to settings that was tripping me up,had not even made it to the best part of the instructions because of it.Got it done. Remember.....(I'm not just a member,I'm a "Nuub")
