Hmmm, something ain't right in this weird place.
There is no joy in Mudville. I made a Nandroid backup, then formatted SYSTEM, DATA, AND CACHE, and then pushed the cyanogen ROM to SDCard as update.zip, ran update, it said it was done, then rebooted and *poof* - stuck at Moto logo.
Sigh. Always my !$%!$#%^!#% phone lol....
Let me see where I went wrong at....
WOW this thing is fast, with petes BB 0.6 I got 8.5 mflops in linpack while with this rom (no jit) I get over 12 mflops. This thing fliess!!!!!! I also get 303 ms on the long benchmark. amazing!

How are you getting that speed? I'm at 8.5![]()
no clue I am clocked at 1ghz max 550 min and i get over 12 mflops and 300-350 long benchmarks constantly. lucky i guess...
Version #?
Firmware version: 2.1-update1

Kernel version: 2.6.29-omap1-bekit bekriebel@ubuntu #1
Mod version: CyanogenMod-5.0.4.1-Droid
Build number: voles-userdebug 2.1 ERE25 23960 test-keys

Yeah, 5.0.4.1 has JIT enabled by default. It was fixed in the subsequent release.

Same here...in the 8 MFLOP range, low 200's in short bench, and in the 600's for long bench. I think the best long benchmark I had ever ran prior to this was around 2000! WTF? 7 screens loaded and I am cruising along...very snappy!![]()
2000 long? I average around 850 long, 230 short. Running Petes .7 with Chevys 1.2 kernel clocked @900.
OK, got it on - will probably put the JIT on there next.
Time to do some benching.....
And I sure wish this had a dark theme for the notification tab - I have gotten spoiled with the current ROMs out there....
Have to use Clockwork Recovery to install this (trust me...I tried to avoid switching...just couldn't)...but here is a GREAT theme!

Yeah looking that way
is it easy to switch to SPrecovery again if I desire?
