Fact: LG locked bootloader per carrier request. Hopefully the motion 4g makes it to Verizon. With an unlocked bootloader.

uhhh lg has locked ALL of their recent devices, not per carriers. sprint openly supports unlocking bootloaders on both htc and motorola (they were teh first to have devices unlock-able by either), their entire samsung lineup has unlocked bootloaders, many of the less popular devices like the kyocera echo, zte devices, lg optimus s are all unlocked.
switch that to verizon and every device is locked, even samsung's which was an unprecedented surprise on the sgs3 (and now note 2).
lg also has international phones not sold by carriers (they are sim unlocked) and they still have the same locked bootloader. so any lg representative who claims that is talking a big, big pile of brown fluid out of their mouth.
if metro were the one wanting locked phones, why not have teh sgs3 variant based off the verizon one with a locked bootloader instead of teh open one US cellular has?
edit: the lg lucid is the brother phone to the lg motion 4g/viper 4g, they are all called the lg cayman for their codenames

The LG motion can be unlocked. We're just too amateur. Adam outlet cam unlock it. I everyone here find him on Google plus and message him. We can pitch in to buy him a motion 4g
