Root [WIP][DEV] Custom Recovery/Bootloader unlocking Work In Progress Thread

As for issues with tapatalk and images.....quit bitchin and login via your web browser you have installed.... its not difficult :P
That's what I do. IDK, it just seems bizarre to me to have an extra program installed to do the same thing I can do just as well with a regular browser. Whenever I get a "use our crappy app to view this site", I always block it immediately.

I had some issues to take care of, but I pushed this off long enough. I will be packing it up in a boot image soon and having everything ready later today. Sorry about the wait.

precisely...

chrome FTW...with Chrome to Phone on my comp and read it later on my phone I have no need of an additional app on my phone...i understand why people do it, but i personally do not need another app giving me notifications :P

It was for today. But all the legal problems I have been having has caused me to have to move. Instead of finishing up on the simple (packed release version) atags proc problem, which is simple, instead I have been packing. I am on this on my phone right now letting everyone know what is going on. And to apologize for the delay. Once I find a stable place for a day, I will finish it. Again, I am truthfully sorry, and hope you can forgive me. If I don't concentrate on this problem now, I will be homeless in winter. Which is not a good thing. Sorry fellas.

I hit the like not because I like your situation (no!) but just want to cheer you up. Whatever legal matter you are involved hope, everything goes well settle down without further issues.

Cheer up and fighting!

Take as long as you need, real life situations are more important.

I had downloaded that last thursday or friday when I bricked, not from the OP of the linked thread, and cant remember from where, but I think it has promise, because it reads my bricked Motion with the com port shown in device manager.....as I stated in a different thread I am shipping my Motion out tomorrow or Friday, so if anyone has an idea my phone is 100% on the table to try any and all ideas

Yeah i am in the same boat as above my phone is completly dead other than winxp and qualcom hsusb dload 9008 drivers lists it in device manager. I would even to be happy to get into dl mode to use unbrick. But phone gettin sent to lg in a day or two.if not fixed sooner.. .....can i extract the bootloader from my second motion and use that toil to attempt to flash. If the boot partitions are the same?

rhino if your in my boat, but have a spare motion, try and get the values asked for in advanced out of the good motion....for starters, go into qpst and read, than save, and we have the qcn or NV ITEM FILE

i had a swap enabling program. i set the app to swap to block 1 partition 3 but i think it reset to default which is block 0
Just as a note, these are the internal storage (block0) partitions as recognized in the system by-name

  1. modem
  2. sbl1
  3. sbl2
  4. sbl3
  5. aboot
  6. rpm
  7. boot
  8. tz
  9. pad
  10. modemst1
  11. modemst2
  12. sns
  13. misc
  14. system
  15. userdata
  16. persist
  17. cache
  18. tombstones
  19. recovery
  20. fsg
  21. ssd
  22. drm
  23. fota
  24. mpt
  25. tzbak
  26. rpmbak
  27. encrypt
  28. reserved
  29. grow

You can find this info in the directory location /dev/block/platform/by-name/

If the software allows you to write data to the device, you may be able to unbrick it.

I can post a copy of my device MBR/table, or any partition. Just request it if desired.
