Back to the FOLD 4...
Our vet asked me to video our dog's odd behavior and take it to her. I walked in this afternoon, got called to the exam room and the doctor walked in. I had my Fold 4's main display open and showed her the video. She had trouble concentrating on the content, though, as she kept saying things like "wow, this guy is all ready to go - I don't even have to squint to see it..."
As we discussed the dog, she noticed me folding the phone shut.
"What kind of phone is that?"
"It's a Samsung Z Fold 4..."
"I've never seen anything like that - it folds shut?!"
"Well, yeah... it's the Fold 4 so this is the 4th year they've made one..."
"Samsung and I don't get along. If someone handed me a Samsung I wouldn't know what to do with it."
THIS WOMAN IS A DOCTOR OF VETERINARY MEDICINE!!!
"I'm sorry to hear that, Doc..."
"How come Apple doesn't have something like this!"
"Because it's... Apple..." (I said with my slow, sarcastic voice)
PS - the dog is fine, just neurotic...

Okay, thank you! Yes, thats the issue Im having. Guess its universal
But after I posted this i realized the google maps photo upload is within the google maps app itself, its own version of it. So its able to control it.
But even when its within the built in Samsung camera app, it does the same thing, see here. Like it depends how the camera is activated, im surprised we cant have control over it to access our gallery even when its not within a seperate app.
I have a Samsung Note20, but when I tried Google Maps, it didn't have the "upload photo" option, and nor does it show pictures of landmarks. It might be my location, but not sure. Normally I don't use or have Google Maps installed.
It kills more people than cancer worldwide...

A physician came to see me last year, and he said I'm the first septic shock patient he's ever visited in their home. All the others were dead.
They'd all died from the things that nearly killed me, including multi-organ failure, extremely high serum lactate, extremely low blood pressure, permanent system-wide organ damage, etc.I was also insulin-dependent for several months. It was weird and I'm left not knowing how to explain it, like if I'm filling out a form and it asks if I have diabetes, either type 1 or 2, I can't say yes because that wasn't it. It was another effect of sepsis. I remember at one point I had had my fingers stuck SO MANY TIMES every day that I just felt like I couldn't stand any more. Same for blood draws. Despite having PICC lines, which worked fine for 24/7 IV infusions, they had to use an actual vein, or artery, for blood draws--and those were 2-3 times a day. I remember one day when I just lay there sobbing...
You were incredibly lucky. Most people with septic shock are in the ICU for prolonged periods, have multi-organ failure, are hospitalized for [at least] weeks or, as in my case, many months, and are permanently disabled--if they pull through. Hence that visiting doctor's statement!
