Reviews best weather app

What does everyone use for a weather app? I want something that I can add a number of locations to as well as the ability to "follow me" and give me the weather where ever I am a t the moment. I have tries a few like 1Weather. It says it will follow your location but it rarely works if at all. I like Weather bug but I dont like the widgets they provide.
Been a huge fan of...

Transparent clock and weather - forecast and radar

... for a number of years. Highly configurable and follows my location. Excellent choice of widgets and weather icons, too. Tons of useful info in the app. You can also pre-programme multiple, alternative, locations. A real big boys toy. (See Screenshots)

Not quite as good, for me, on location but offers a stunning choice of weather providers and a number of widgets as well as alternative locations, is...

Another fine mess

Ok, I've used the starting fluid, and the key hasn't budged. Then I hooked up the phone to a Dell, only to get that message about usb not being recognized. Next, I used that trick about changing USB settings. I'm not sure what good that did. I did get into the command line of minimal adb/fastboot. When I typed in fastboot devices (twice), there was no response. Maybe I'll have to try downloading drivers. The saga continues...

Google Voice to Text ...over working! Bug!

I started having the same duplication problems after my latest update in early summer 2021. Most of the posts in this thread were from years ago, but it's happening again. I got this workaround from an Android user forum on Google. Open the Settings on your phone, choose General Settings, then General Management. Select Text to Speech and choose Google Text to Speech. Then go back to General Management and choose Keyboard List and Default. Choose Google Voice Typing. I still don't know what caused this problem, but this workaround has worked for me, at least for now.

Please help me and click plz

I have never heard of a smartphone without Wi-Fi capability. It should be under Settings -- Connections/

Depending on phone, carrier and country, network settings may be restricted (that whole censorship thing, you know). If the carrier flashed the phone with firmware eliminating Wi-Fi, there's no way to enable it without rooting and re-flashing it. If that were the case, (a) the phone may not work on the carrier and (b) the authority requiring removal of Wi-Fi will find out via packet-sniffers and come knocking on your door).

Can someone use Maps App without Google?

It's possible to not use any data with some navigation apps that let you download entire maps beforehand using WiFi. Since the map is already on the phone no data is used for GPS navigation.

Google Maps can also work offline by downloading maps in advance, but you can only download a small area (one city for example). Look for the options in the settings.

Using "GPS Only" for finding your location does not use any data - it communicates only with satellites in orbit, not carrier towers or WiFi.

and is logged out of Google on her phone
If you mean she doesn't even use Google Play, she can download the OsmAnd Navigation APK from F-Droid:

Less robust bluetooth sometimes

@mikedt Samsung does try to make their phones battery efficient and lowers the bluetooth performance when the screen goes off. But it shouldn't affect the performance that much. But reading on their forums, I assume there are loads of issues currently with it and the chance is pretty high in this case.

But... have you tried resetting it back to default (factory restore)? The best thing is to try all kinds of solutions to find out the problem itself. It could even be that your head phones aren't working correctly. What kind of head buds do you use?

Amazon has one. Google has several...

And this is why there is no Bixby smart speaker or similar: the number of people who have Samsung phones and turn off Bixby (which is most of the Samsung owners I know) sends the message that it's a waste of time making one.

You would think they would get the hint, and just ditch Bixby altogether.

The fact that they don't, fully knowing that virtually nobody likes the crap, sends the message that the app is nefarious.
