Said APKPURE and Up and Down app stores are extremely safe and reliable, specially if you compare them to Google app store. Said google app store doesn't test like they did in the beginning. Have exactly the same problem when I install Periscope on my phone. Applications minimize to background when I unlock the phone (no matter if Periscope is running or not). The problem disappears immediately when I uninstall Periscope.

Wouldn't be able to answer that without being able to actually look at your phone before and after the update. Hopefully someone with more knowledge and first-hand experience on this 1GB gain issue will chime in with a less vague answer.

I have developed web based application to use on Android mobile. Does any one know how to get SMS permission on Android mobile? Is it possible to send sms carrier text from web based application? My application is NOT native Android App. I would appreciate if there is anyone who can help me, instead of developing native android app. Thanks

Okay, when you're in settings and see the app listed, press on the app to see its info, then scroll down to the bottom; you should see something like this [down at the bottom]:



Does your app show that it was installed from the Play Store? If so, then press on that sentence and it should take you to its Play Store page.

Does it? If so, there should be an 'open' choice; that's one way of running it. But not ideal!

As my buddy @Dannydet said, look for it in your app drawer--HOWEVER, if you're using a third-party launcher [as most of us do], it's possible that its icon has either deliberately been hidden or it's simply not where you're looking for it. (That may apply to a stock launcher, too; I wouldn't know.)

So...go through the above steps and post your results. If you follow its link [via settings] and it does not take you to its Play Store page, it should give you an error message, like 'not found.' It may have been removed for some reason. But that doesn't mean you can't use it, as long as it's on your phone, and we know it is. It's just a matter of putting its icon in your app drawer.

I'm sorry. I've lost a cat to liver failure, so I'm sure that Benjamen was miserable toward the end. You did the right thing, the loving thing, sending him off to Rainbow Bridge peacefully.

I love your stories of things he did and how he behaved. I also understand how losing Nikki affected you so profoundly, you didn't want another cat. Been there, done that, but mine was a Great Dane named Star.

I have a million stories, too, about my pets, past and present, but won't tell any of them right now out of respect. Yours deserves its own time for a bit.

It seems there is not option for local backups but WhatsApp backs up by default to the phone. So there are backup file on the phone done by WhatsApp.

Well that key icon is a standard Android notification icon ,meaning that the phone has a VPN app/service running. I guess the padlock icon, maybe associated with that particular VPN service.

So there is no way to just change a setting in the phone to avoid this?

Depending on the particular call recording app you're using. See if there's any folders called Call Recorder, Recorder, Recordings, Calls, Rec or similar, either in internal storage or on the SD(if one is fitted in your phone)
