I surmise your dad is probably using he embedded Family functionality in Android, as as such they cannot be circumvented. I know, I use the controls with my son, and we talk about the reasons they are there whenever the controls become an impediment to what he wants to do with his phone.

I'm not going to talk about my reasons for using them, but if I was to take an educated guess, they are probably a lot of the same reasons your father has for employing these controls.

As @Steven58 wisely articulated, we won't be helping circumvent these controls here. I'd recommend talking to your dad about what you want to do with your phone, figure out if it can be accomplished in a way that alleviates his concerns, and keep it honest.

what are you talking about? what tank? my tank in the op?

on a side note. i should update that this tank (the one in the op) had a pretty gnarly leak and thus the tank, stand, and system has changed. as of right now, i'm re-doing the tank so it is in transition. hopefully in a few weeks i'll have it set up to how i like it. at that point i will post a picture and explained what i did.

ps.....i totally forgot about this thread.....LOL
