Constantly closing apps, whether manually or with an automatic "task killer", and regularly clearing app cache, is not doing your phone any favors. You're far better off leaving it alone and letting Android manage itself which it does quite well. There's plenty of discussion to read about this if you search around.
Hopefully you have replaced the bad SD card and solved that issue. Bear in mind that app data and cache is generally not stored on the external SD but rather in internal phone storage, although depending on your Android version and options provided by the manufacturer there may be an option to move some apps to the SD.
With all that said, if what you have is an original ZTE Max it's getting rather long in the tooth and there isn't much you can do with its limited internal storage and RAM (not to mention the older processor) so it may be time to think about a newer replacement.

But also, what is the issue? If it has suddenly changed your sync settings and uploaded all of your photos then yes, that's wrong. But if it's not uploaded anything the chances are that all that's changed is that they have made the fact that you were signed in more visible to you.

An obvious corollary: if you don't want to use the backup feature, why use Google Photos at all? As a gallery app it's nothing special.

Thanks for the reply. I viewed Google photos on my phone as I always do, yesterday for the first time ever it had my initial top right and displayed differently. I realised that it was because I was logged into it.

Obviously I have always been signed into the phone (damn google, you can't even use a phone without them knowing!)

It works fine for what I want, viewing photos and either deleting them or copying them to my NAS.

Sync is off so I think you are right, they have updated the app and it looks different. Thanks, I didn't think of that!

This error occurs due to any virus present in your system. So first check your mobile phone for a virus and remove it if any an if it doesn't work then check your browser on which you are trying to access AOL Desktop Gold and view if it is updated or not and also clear all cookies present in your browser.

I am frustrated with Oneplus 3 bluetooth issues. It often has trouble connecting to newer devices and connects sporadically. Right now it connects to my car radio and disconnects automatically after sometime. I can see in the car radio settings the bluetooth going from connected to paired to connected again. It also had a lot of trouble connecting to heart rate monitors. Is there a way to see bluetooth logs in a way that it can be easily understood what is going on with the bluetooth connections. I understand that there is a bluetooth HCI snoop log but that is pretty difficult to understand.

There's Google's Find Your Phone, which will presumably work for other connected mobile Android devices that are not necessarily phones.

If it's not turned on, you'll only see the last reported location. But then if the car isn't started, it probably isn't driving anywhere, unless it's been towed or on a trailer. There are purpose made tracking devices on the market, that will work as long as the vehicle battery is connected.

First google has all your info that's been on your device. It will show where and what time you where and at what time everywhere you have been day by day. It's like a map with lines running to the places you went to that day and the time you got there and how long you where there. Also if someone has access to your google account they have all your passwords and usernames for all your accounts you logged into through google chrome or android device. Also you can go onto your account and see what devices and where they logged into your account from. But another important feature with google ran devices you can download a archive of everything you saved whether its photos contacts or documents and website history and much more as long as you have had the account. So if you have had the account 10 years it will have everything for that 10 year period. If someone is hacked your phone and has a program running on it than enable developer options and go to running services. There it will show you everything that's running on your device. But there is a lot more than what I have covered but I don't want to spend hours writing it all so if you have questions feel free to ask.

it could also be the battery. as batteries get older they lose the ability to hold a charge. it can also lose the capability to communicate with the phone so that your phone is misreading the actual charge.

not only would i look to getting a new charger and cable, but i would look into getting the battery replaced as well.

Take a screenshot when your on the message page and email the screenshots. I do everything on my device as well. Just so you know it would be a lot better if you had a better device. I'm not just saying that because I am in sales, If you use your phone for everything it's not going to last long. Those entry level devices are not designed to carry such a high work load. It's for people that don't use there devices often. I wouldn't be surprised if you were already running or ran out of storage. My father started out with a cheaper device and I finally got him to upgrade to a high end phone and he tells me all the time there is a huge difference in how they perform. If you have any questions I can give you the ins and outs of how to upgrade without getting ripped off or sold something you don't need. I have a small list of time saving items that everyone that uses there device a lot would benefit from having. You wouldn't know you need them until you actually have them, you know what they say time is money and there is never enough time in the day. Be careful though a lot of sales Consultants sell shady and or try to sell you a phone you don't need or that won't be good for your lifestyle.

When we getting Android 10. I'm still on Sept security patch. Should I have gotten newer version by now or no.

Download booster is on my Verizon device, I use it constantly. I have always on data turned on and have my wifi on. But it looks to me like sometimes it works and sometimes it only uses wifi or mobile data even if the file or app is over a gig and it shows download booster is running. Not sure why that is but I will figure it out soon.

Has anyone successfully gotten setExactAndAllowWhileIdle (Alarm Manager) to work reliably? I'm making an alarm clock app and it's pretty important to have the alarm fire at the desired time. I'm using the Alarm Manager to call a Service which I then call startForeground() immediately in the on Create() method and request a wakeLock(). I'm using it to chime on the hour and half hour. I invariably miss two or three alarms a day. Sometimes I won't get an alert for a couple hours and then magically it will start working again.

I think this might be related to battery conservation but everything I've read says that setExactAndAllowWhileIdle will ALWAYS trigger at the desired time (plus or minus a few milliseconds).

I'm happy to provide more info but I'm not looking for anyone to write my code for me. I just want a friendly nudge in the right direction.

I should mention that this seems to work properly in the emulator but not on real-world devices. I've tested it with a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and a Google Pixel C Tablet and both exhibit the problem I've described.

I'm not sure right now. I know that Sprint Backup on my Galaxy 8+ has a similar icon to what you've mentioned (MacOS "time machine") but this phone is under Verizon. Thanks a lot. This was a really helpful post.
