Um...I'm not sure what you're asking...or if you are asking something.

But it sounds like it has to do with app development. If you post on the Android Development board, asking your question clearly, you should get help there.

My guess is that he's using the AF app, which was discussed in this thread. It's a very annoying glitch!

Hi, i would want develop with android studio the bottom navigation view as this:

how can i start for building this. I thought with new project with bottom navigation view...but i'm not so where to start....

I tried this plugin

Think I found the answer. Put the sd card back in the old tabket. Changed the Kindle settings to download to sd. Then downloaded all books to sd card. Put sd card back in new tablet. Now all books in that.

I was just playing around and stumbled on to pinching my forefinger and thumb in different places within the gallery app. I was pleasantly surprised. Repeated pinches brought desired results. I'm sure a lot of past note users already know this but being a samsung newbie this brought a grin to my face.

Thanks for coming back - if you re-read my original post, I did indicate "(I am of course aware that not all items are movable)"
However as a further clarification, the two phones do have differing programs (with some common ones of course)

yeah more info is needed. what happened? how did the phone get into this state? is the phone rooted? if so, can you get into recovery?

i have 3 tablets and a lg cell phone. on all the tablets and phone i have an app for viewing my cameras. i'm trying to get faster speed from them but when i connected them up to my router using cat5 cable and a usb to cat5 adapter they all ran slower than they did on wifi.

1. lg phone 7.0 ran 6 mbps wifi 5mbps adapter
2. 3 tablets all ran 13 15 and 25 mbps wifi and 4 to 6 mbps on the adapter. i have 2 adapters i got from walmart and they were about the same.

so is there any way to get speed from a tablet that is better using cable connections over the wifi connections. my router is 2.4 ghz b/g/n capable. it i can find out what tablets if any can do this i will get one for monitoring the cameras. so if anyone happens to know what android version works or what tablets work better on cat5 cable over the wifi please let me know. or even a ipad although i do not have any experience with them or a kindle of any kind. it makes no difference to me as long as i can get speed to them form the network. when i do a speed test on my pc from the network now i get 55 mbps and if i plug it into the modem i get 112 mbps, they tell me my network switch i holding that back as it is a 10/100 switch, so i have a 10/100/1000 in the mail now and can retest that when i get it. i expect the network speed to go up thru the new switch.

but i need to get some more speed into a tablet for better viewing my cameras with. thanks.

Only games? And do these games have anything in common (like using some common account system)? Any games in particular?

Games are just apps, so it would be very strange indeed if all games were affected, no other apps, and there is nothing in common between the games you have. So I have to assume there is some common factor between the apps that are afffected, but we'll need more information from you to have any hope of figuring it out.

(Remember that we only know what you tell us, not what you know).

The same green flicker happened with my former S8 as well after 1 year of usage.

I though the S8 would carry me at least for 2 or even 3 years. The phone was also getting extremely hot after 5 to 6 months especially when am on the internet.

It's really a huge disappointment, do any of you know more durable quality smart phones? How about iPhone 10 and 11 ?

Tonight the text-to-speech is acting up even more than yesterday. I changed to a different default voice to get away from the pitch and speed isuses and in the middle of listening to a book it just switched back to the other voice that had sounded bad and wouldn't change from that one no matter which voice I downloaded/selected. I eventually uninstalled Google T-T-S updates and then reinstalled them, kept trying repeatedly and finally managed to reset the voice to a different one. Hope it stays put. I think I will try clearing out all the app data and reset the voice if this happens again.

I think there's something going on with TTS on Android 8 but I can't find any news about it online. My phone is fully up-to-date.

I checked the router it seems to be fine and I'm not having any trouble signing in to gmail either. Only when I try to use the home app do problems occur.

no need to back things up daily. google photos automatically does it for you. i never have to back my photos up to my pc.

it depends. i am not familiar with the app, if it has the ability to back things up on its own server, then you are good. but i think most apps like that will save the data someplace on the phone or on the sd card.

Sure thing. I just recieved the glap controller. Gonna get it all setup this weekend.

I solved it.

So for some reason the "inScaled" option for BitmapFactory is set to true by default.

I just had to create and change the options with this code inside the Background class.


Then add the option to the bitmap shown bellow

Buying any reputable brand's microSD card, up to 128GB, from a reputable source should be fine. Beware of fakes and knockoffs! Just stick with a known brand and buy it from a reputable merchant.

Hi, so how could I design something like the headunits based on Android. And I need maps, torque to be called inside and still having the lower controls (AC, volume etc.. like the one pictured here)

As @Hadron noted, continuing to use Oreo shouldn't be a problem.

My current phone is only four months old--Motorola sent me a new one when my still-under-warranty, Moto Z² Force had a problem. Motorola had previously announced that the Z² -would- get updated to Pie, then backtracked, only giving it to phones with one carrier (Verizon?). I have no intention of ditching a brand-new phone any time soon! Pie or no Pie, I'll keep this phone until I'm good and ready to replace it.
