no need to back things up daily. google photos automatically does it for you. i never have to back my photos up to my pc.
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.
Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.
it depends. i am not familiar with the app, if it has the ability to back things up on its own server, then you are good. but i think most apps like that will save the data someplace on the phone or on the sd card.I d/l an app called color notes. I wrote several notes on the app. I moved the app to the external storage, I then lost the sd card ( I guess it got corrupted somehow). Is there a way to retrieve the info on the app? I re-d/l the app, but it's blank.
Thanks
Sure thing. I just recieved the glap controller. Gonna get it all setup this weekend.ocnbrze, please let us know how it works after you've tried it out. Thanks.
BitmapFactory.Options options = new BitmapFactory.Options();
options.inScaled = false;
bitmap = BitmapFactory.decodeResource(context.getResources(), R.drawable.maintest, options);
Nice find, @Dannydet!
As @Hadron noted, continuing to use Oreo shouldn't be a problem.I assume that would make Oreo etc. null and void.

every note came with a preinstalled protector. you arent the first to put white stone over it.From the start it seemed like the reader wasn't very good, it just didn't have the sensitivity I thought it should and then I compounded the problem by installing the Whitestone Dome glass screen protector.
Re-registered prints several times in various positions etc and it didn't help then the Sep 1 update came out and it improved a little, I also set the sensitivity to max in system settings. It worked better but I still had to press fairly hard for it to go thru.
Well today I dropped the phone and cracked the screen protector so I decided to change it out with the 2nd dome protector I got and that's when I discovered why the print reader was off. While peeling the cracked dome protector off I noticed an air bubble on the screen itselfI'm trying to figure out how the hell air got under the screen and felt the edge of the phone with my fingernail.
Damn phone came with a hard plastic screen protector under the peel away sheet. Now the reader works like it should. Doh!
You're new around here.
Well, let's just say that I've used Linux since before it existed.By that I mean that I was already a UNIX person, an anti-Micro$oft person, before Linux was invented in 1991. There are no Micro$oft products in my life or house. So I'd say it's working out quite well!
No such nonsense in my world.
Au contraire! To me it's a very big deal--and Linux solves it.
With Linux, it's all about choice, starting with the freedom to choose for yourself which of the many Linux distributions (or 'distros' or 'flavors') you want to use. There's a Linux for everyone, from absolute newbies to hard-core geeks.
My favorite distro (as all the regulars know!) is Kubuntu. I love it for its elegance and infinitely customizable user interface, on top of everything I expect from a UNIX/Linux system: built-in powerful tools, security, stability, endless software choices, no bloatware (you're in charge of what's on your system), etc.
If you're interested in using Linux and have any questions, you're welcome to pop in on our Linux megathread, where no previous knowledge is needed or assumed. Just jump in and ask away!![]()
Thanks! I take no credit though, lol, I just help keep it a float!
S7 and S7 Edge seems to receive OTA updates no problems anywhere.
You bought the SM-N9600 Latin American variant Note 9 new in the US? That makes it a grey import, and presumably it didn't come from an official Samsung outlet?
Samsung does impose regional activation restrictions on their phones, in that it must be first activated with a local SIM, and a call made from the country or region it was intended for.
I just looked at Nord VPN, and it has servers in Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Costa Rica. But that was on my PC, though....

It depends on the malware you have inadvertently installed (or the phone installed itself). A lot of today's worst malware installs as SYSTEM apps, which means a factory reset won't even get rid of them. You would have to root the phone and try to manually delete them from the System partition (without deleting important system files)... you may need to send the phone to the manufacturer for a complete reflash of the operating system. I'm sorry you're having these issues, and I wish I had better news for you. Can you at least identify the malware or how exactly they got installed?
