Samsung Health

That does make sense if you're comparing different levels of sleep like REM, light sleep, restless, etc... you'd want the full length of time you're trying to sleep for comparison stats. It's definitely helpful to know how long you were trying to sleep vs. how much sleep you got.

It is indeed sad- but I'm not sure what that has to do with this post?

It's also sad when people are judgemental and lack empathy, without care or concern for the details and circumstances.

But it's all good. I understand the frustration but disagree with the venue.
Right, wrong place, I talked to you about this in another thread and you took accountability. I'm sorry if you were going thru personal issues, but over many years you have kind of done the disappearing act and we need you here. Water under the bridge at this point. I've said my frustrations and will love on. Please continue with the original topic of this thread moving forward.

Help Please Help: How to move SIM card from old phone to new phone?

I'm still struggling with my sim card size of: "Single SIM (Mini-SIM) or Dual SIM (Mini-SIM, dual stand-by)"

Here are the specs of the phone in case I'm reading the sim card incorrectly:

I just wish I could find an answer... 😢😢😢
I just came upon a SIM cutter device I'd bought about a decade ago when I bought a second-hand phone from Gazelle, and had to trip my SIM card to fit the "Micro-SIM" size. After nearly screwing the pooch, I got it to fit but it was wonky and finally I walked into a Verizon store where the agent happily gave me a properly fit Micro-SIM at no charge, since I wasn't planning to switch carriers.

Try reading this page for description of the myriad SIM sizes. Judging from the age of your phone model - discontinued in 2013, and the term Mini-SIM, your phone uses the old style "Standard" SIM card which telco carriers should be able to supply, although nearly everyone has moved their inventory to the ubiquitous "nano-SIM" which has the smallest border around the chip circuit contacts.

So my 2-cents is to not try cutting or trimming a SIM card to force a fit, just go to your carrier and tell them you need a proper SIM for your account, which you are going to maintain a subscription, and they will gladly send you a proper card that is programmed with your account information.

Super Grub2 Disk For Linux

Linux use to use a MBR program called LILO for booting into whatever OS you had loaded on your computer. It was real easy to use and write script to.

Then for some unknown reason, Linux distributions started using Grub. I had trouble with it starting on day one. It wrote over LILO and I couldn't get to my other OS to boot. I even talked to a guy who was some how involved in the testing of Grub and he couldn't figure it out.

The other day I loaded Fedora on one of my laptops and sure enough Grub didn't work. I searched the web and it was a common problem on the latest version of Fedora. I had to have the Fedora installation DVD in my laptop for it to boot to Fedora. I didn't even bother to try fixes that were listed.

Now I see Super Grub2 is out to fix Grub problems. I'm going to try on Fedora to see if it works. If Grub worked properly this Grub2 wouldn't be necessary.

Z Fold 4 failure

I had the Fold 3 and 4, but the phones are too thick to fit many of the specialized phone mounts I use. I went to the S23U and now S24U and didn't miss the screen real estate nearly as much as I thought I would (probably because I also have the desktop & laptop).
This is why I'm not so bothered about foldables: I have desktop, laptop and tablet as well as my phone, so the phone's purpose is portabilty. That's why I'm watching developments in flip-style phones more than folders at the moment, though I'm hoping Samsung will have a bit more competition in that area before I next need to update.

Help Telegram no more unread

The problem happens only in telegram groups with topics

This is an example:
Search for the group name in the screenshot, press the group name and you will see the different topics under the group name, press all the rows that has unread messages (example, the screenshot #General has 1588 unread) then press the down arrow button so it will "read" and clear the 1588, press back and repeat previous step for all topics that has unread message, now just scroll down to the bottom any topic and you will see the problem. Using this group as an example because it has topics created by the owner, public group anyone can view it.

I am using Telegram 10.15.1, just updated. Samsung A32 5G.

Lenovo Tab M9

Wanted to find out if anyone out here runs a Lenovo Tab M9, as I just picked one up during Amazon Prime Days. I bought it after my 5 year old Amazon Fire HD8 has gotten long in the tooth, with Amazon not doing any OS updates at all in these years. Apps were getting slower as they updated while OS remained static. So I looked a long time for another small format tablet since I prefer a 7 or 8 inch tablet when I travel on airplanes, easier to read books and watch videos without fearing the dread seat recline knocking over an iPad or laptop.

Samsung has effectively ended their 8 inch line and I didn't find the myriad no name Android devices worthwhile, but the M9 seemed reasonable, especially with a competitive sale price during Amazon Prime Days. At any rate, after a few weeks I'm satisfied the apps I transferred from my HD8 are snappier in responsiveness due to a fairly up to date Android 13 version. It's not certainly not a Samsung tablet nor an iPad, but that isn't what I wanted, just a cost effective reader and occasional video player for light usage.

Anyone have experience with this tablet, would you share your perspective.
