So much for the “reunion”…

I'm stuck in the sixties / seventies rock. My working knowledge before my heyday is far better than after that rock window. I never heard of them either.
I'm stuck also.
While I've "heard" of Janes Addiction I've never heard of Oasis. I had to look up the quilt, here, to find out it was from Supernatural. I actually thought it was from Homer Simpson.

Youtube needs swiping to navigate the progress bar?

Yeah I have it on the tv and yes, it's much easier to navigate with a remote. Why is it on PC that I can just click anywhere on the progress bar, but Android has to make it so janky?
I never heard that word "janky" before I had to use my copilot.. hmmm...Depending on the info on the t.v., I used it a few times when staying at my brother in law's place, via connection to his tv and back.. Although currently not used it in ages though.

website broken?

I have two digital drives in the machine, one host the OS while the other is for everything else. Worse comes to worse I can always pop the chip out and put it in another machine. I have 3 external drives that have lots on them, but have not even turned one on in quite awhile, I need to copy the digital to the externals. I also have a spin up and blank disks if I really wanted to go old school ....

Google pixel 6 pro and what I mean is which app from the app list? You know, when you go to settings - apps and see the list of all the apps on your phone
Apps are individual packages of software to do specific tasks. The Android operating system is a different matter. It's a complex firmware that manages and maintains your phone, and it's a vital way for us to interact with our phone's hardware. The Settings app, a default in every Android device, is the most common way for us to customize and configure how are phone's function.
It might make it less of a hassle when you differentiate between apps you install (and come preinstalled), and the Android OS when you want to set up your phone the way you want. Start out by just sitting down and going through Settings menu to see all the options that are already available to you. The Settings app is unique and comprehensive, and the options in your phone's Settings' menus are specific to your phone model. (i.e. the Settings menu in a Pixel will have similarities with but also differences than the Settings menu in a Samsung.)
If there is something you can't tweak in your phone's Settings, that's when you need to search for a third-party app on the Play Store that's a possible solution.

Tyreek Hill

yeah but the issue, if we are talking about officer safety, is that the minute that officer reached in to open the door, he was in a much vulnerable position. he could have been shot.. like the cop in the second video i posted who said, if it were about safety and Tyreek would not come out, the cop should have just stood back and kept his distance. this was not about safety. like i said, it was all about how Tyreek was not obeying the cops commands. and the cop got butt hurt about that and escalated the encounter. i also said that it is both Tyreek's and cops who were present fault. this whole thing should have been handled different.

and cops should be held to a higher standard. they need to maintain a professional attitude at all times. no matter how non compliant the citizen is. cops should not blow their tops like that when things do not go their way.

did you not see the video i posted? i actually agree with the cops in that video.

Help Image size of Samsung Z Fold 6 and S24 Ultra?

Hello,

If there is an image in Telegram or Whatsapp, the area/info at the sides are hidden before you press on the image to enlarge it, I need to press the image to enlarge it to see the whole image.

Q1. In Telegram before you press the image to enlarge it, does the image show more area/info in Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 than in Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra?

Q2. In Whatsapp before you press the image to enlarge it, does the image show more area/info in Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 than in Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra?

Thanks

Disappearing drive

That's never worked before but I guess. I should probably give up on this stuff, go live in a cave, and pick berries. I guess I could figure out if they're ripe or call technical support with a tin can and a string. At least I was finally able to find drive and files. They were hiding in, of all things, the Google bunch, with a lot more.

default email signature

I don't really understand why anyone would want one of those default signature that advertises which app sent it. I can see why the app developer might, but not the actual user.
I agree with you. As for me, it's like you don’t care what you're sending to your addressee if you just leave the default "sent from" signature. It doesn’t add anything useful and looks a bit lazy. I prefer to customize mine to look more professional and polished, especially with tools like Exclaimer that make it easy to create something personalized.

Help Tech Support & Things That Make You Go Hmmmm...

We finally got this issue resolved. For anyone else having this annoying problem the culprit is RegiStar in the app GOOD LOCK. Just go tO RegiStar, and if you have nothing assigned to the "Side Key press and hold" function, either turn it off, or select an action for it. I turned mine off because the phone itself has a Side Key function option. Good luck.

How to clear up Internal Storage Space on Android Phone

Your two posted screen shots represent two completely different scenarios -- the first indicates a phone with 16 GBs of internal storage, the second indicates a phone with apparently 128 GB or more internal storage. Are they from two different phones, or instead are both from just your Moto E6? (..... and you had your microSD card formatted as Portable in the first screen cap and then formatted as Internal in the second cap, an issue being only so much pertinent details are greyed out.)
They are the same phone. I have a 128 micro SD card inserted into the phone, but it is installed as "portal" storage, not integrated "internal" storage. I do remember now , that I wanted the ability to easily transfer files, photos, videos to and from my phone to my laptop so I set it up as portable. I suppose I could re-format the micro SD card so that it's internal, but I guess then there is no easy way to transfer photos, videos, files to/from computer (I guess uploading to cloud) but that's way way too much of a pain.
