Help Save browser tabs url?

How do you do "sync the open tabs with a desktop browser"?
I'm using Vivaldi myself, which syncs open tabs on other devices. I expected most, if not all, browsers to do the same.
you still need to go one by one and book mark the tabs even on the computer.
Same goes for bookmarking. In Vivaldi I can bookmark all open tabs or only the ones I've selected in one go. Seems to be possible in Opera too, but not Chrome.

Battery app that auto-updates power level?

Interestingly enough, since I started this thread, the app has been working as desired--as the battery power dropped, so has the number on the icon. I think the poking around Hadron had me do, must have done something. Or else, maybe its kind of like when you take your car to a mechanic and that strange noise disappears. 🤔
It's like that sometimes.

Google crawling: Does Google crawl websites using Android phone data?

It's not an IP address, it's a url like you said. How is it possible when it's not posted anywhere?

What I meant was once you register the web address all the companies that sell a web address know what was registered so there aren't any duplicates. I would think search engines look for all the new registered web addresses. That's what I would think is happening.

It use to be you had to register your web address with the search engines. I don't think you have to do that anymore.

Help How to permanently remove "Mute all sounds" from Samsung Galaxy A13?

On an unrooted phone, no. Even with root you'd have to find a system mod (probably specific to this particular model) that does this, which I've never heard of.

Maybe you could change your Do Not Disturb settings so that almost everything is allowed to make a sound even in DnD mode (i.e. make everything you can an "exception")? Might be possible to work around it that way.

Check your Do Not Disturb settings to make sure you don't have any schedules set up. And maybe check that your calendar app doesn't have an opinion to mute during events (not a common feature, indeed I use Tasker to make mine do this, but worth eliminating as a possibility).

If it's not something like that all I can think of is maybe something keeps pressing the volume down button?

Android Studio multi build

Hi, I need some help with a problem I need to solve. I have an application that I need to install on three different customers' devices. Each client has to point to his own server and use some features and not all. What's the best way to handle this? As sources I have only one but I would like to be able to generate several apk automatically by setting in some way a parameter that allows me to make the application work in the correct way

Do APKs take up less space?

If I install an APK version of an app instead of downloading from the play store, does it take up less or more space???
Installing an APK version of an app instead of downloading it from the Play Store does not necessarily take up less or more space. The size of the app remains the same, regardless of the source of installation.

When you download an app from the Play Store, the app's APK file is downloaded to your device, along with any additional data or resources needed to run the app. When you install the app, these files are stored in the device's internal storage or on an external SD card, depending on your settings.

Similarly, when you install an APK file manually, the APK file and any associated data or resources are stored in the device's internal or external storage, just like when installing from the Play Store.

However, it's worth noting that downloading and installing APK files from third-party sources can be risky, as they may contain malware or other security vulnerabilities. It's always recommended to download apps from trusted sources such as the Google Play Store or other official app stores to minimize these risks.

What's apk+ ?

When I backup an Android app, I've noticed that some newer apk files have actually the extension apk+
What's the meaning of this?
Thanks.
The .apk+ extension that you are seeing in some Android app backups is a file extension used by the Helium Backup app. Helium Backup is a popular backup tool for Android devices that allows users to backup and restore their apps and data without requiring root access.

The .apk+ extension is used by Helium Backup to indicate that the APK file has been backed up along with its associated data. The plus sign (+) is used to differentiate these backup files from regular APK files.

When you use Helium Backup to create a backup of an app, it creates a backup file with the .apk+ extension that contains both the APK file and the app's data. This allows you to restore the app along with its data, preserving your app settings, user data, and other app-specific information.

It's worth noting that Helium Backup is not the only app that uses this file extension. Some other backup and restore apps may also use the .apk+ extension to indicate that a file contains both the APK and data for an app. However, the use of this file extension is not standardized across all backup tools, so it's important to check the documentation of the backup tool you are using to understand how it stores and restores app data.
