Yeah my sister has one, because one of her best friends has one.. I find it just annoying on how her button is ontop of her volume keys.

I misunderstood and thought there was also a transfer problem. I'm glad that @mikedt had the solution.

On my Samsung using the stock gallery app I can open the image, click on the three dot and choose details, then edit.

The TOR exit relays were coming from IPs in Germany and the US. The residential IP came from an address in Singapore. I'm trying to figure out if the attacker slipped up and used his actual IP from his home location before switching to the TOR relays OR if the Singapore IP is more likely to be a residential VPN (correct me if I'm wrong but these tend to have frequent outages and are a bit slower?)

For context, the attacker was denied access via the Singapore IP on the original attack, but managed to gain access with the TOR relays about an hour later.

Being as the topic is exhausted I shall close it. I hope the information left behind can be of some assistance to another.

Oh on the lock screen of my moto edge plus, and my samsung it shows the date with the year on it, it is just the clock settings if you want that simple way. Just head over to the clock settings on your samsung and set for edit and profit.

Hi all, I'm well (as are my wife and rescue cat). We now have 3 grandchildren (5 ,3 1/2, and 1) how our daughter manages in a tiny apartment ground floor flat I can't imagine. We're still All Linux/FOSS and off to Croatia on holiday in a month . I'm still considering changing to an EV adn prices for used ones seem to be coming down quite nicely in the UK right now.

Hello there - I followed the process exactly as described but I seem to be running into a wall. When I proceed via the step "Select tools, partition manager", the partition manager option is greyed out.

Hopefully that does the trick! If you decide to turn chat back on (it really should be pretty stable now) remember to make sure the send as SMS/MMS is also on, if it's not already - that's the key setting

It could be that doc file is corrupted? Try making a new file, and copy and paste the original text into it.

I have used MacroDroid by ArloSoft for this purpose for years. I found Tasker to be overly complicated for my relatively simple needs. That said, any app of this type takes a moment to learn its world view.

At 10PM, it automatically sets my media volume to 0 and my notifications to 45%. At 8AM it turns media to 50% and notifications to 75%. You could probably turn up the appropriate volume settings at midnight to be sure you haven't left your meeting mute on overnight.

I report those troll/bot posts when I see them so they can get cleaned up before polluting the forum.

If you look in your phone's Settings >> Battery menu, that should show you a listing of running apps but that's more or less just cursory info. Not knowing what phone you have, there's no way to be more definitive. But if it's not very obvious it's likely to be buried in a sub-menu option.

If you want a more detailed viewing, you should use the 'Running services' option instead. Running services shows not just apps you're using but system apps and services that are running in the background. (...in the Running services window, switch to the Cached processes). You do need to enable Developer options in your Settings menu first, so you can then access Running services.

Well, I might have found a solution, but it is specific to Samsung phones. There might be similar capabilities in other phones.

On my S22, there is an ability to Create routines that preform tasks given conditions. It is part of the "Bixby" assistant.

So within the Routine "App", I created a a place called Home and defined it based on a google map street address with a radius of 200 meters (just to be safe) and identifying my home WiFi network by name. So if Google maps think I am within that circle, or the named WiFi is available, I am "at home"

Then I created a Routine that is defined as IF arriving at home THEN do not lock phone(for up to 4 hours). Seems to be working. I'll update otherwise.

I still think Google should address this by making WiFi connections an option for Smart Lock!

do those tips work for you? how good is your battery life? for me i am a power user so i have battery chargers at work and a car charger in my work van.

I agree with you I've pretty much dropped the lawyer idea that was just me being upset....the only people using the account are me and my wife. We use it to handle our business. Make phone calls and text mostly and most of the time it's between each other as she is usually about on hour away from me. I opened up an account with Verizon to cover me until TMobile comes up with something. Thanks again for your kind words and advice. It is greatly appreciated all of you.
