You did not tell me anything. I'm not signed up for any of the services in that article and I doubt most people are. If you have any other suggestions, pitch it up. otherwise, have a nice life..I'll get somebody else that knows what they are doing to help.
Ciao.

Help Signing in with Google

Seems like I have had a Google problem that I discovered. I was sometimes getting getting requests by Google to login on websites, even though I thought I had disabled that option in my Google account. Well, somehow, I am sure by my fault, I found that I had two Google accounts active on my phone. It seemed that it looked like both were set to sync. I deleted the secondary Google account. I then in a short bit, hit and miss, phone text replies were sometimes missing from some people. I guess Google (Google Drive?) can or does store phone text messages. I had also noticed that sometimes I was getting my Google headline news on my Google search page in addition to that dedicated page when you swipe leftfrom the home page. Sometimes that was missing. I was also having trouble when I clicked on some of the stories. Some would open in the page as you would expect. Some would display below all of the headlines. It is my best guess that I had two Google acvounts running simultaneously, conflicting with each other, one storing some info. when in control, and the other when it was in control. That also explains the differing Google headline handling as well as sometimes getting webpage login requests. The solution, the best one anyway, might be a clean factory reset and reinstall of apps, testing one by one for other issues I had been having. I can do that after the first of the year when I get my Note 8 cleaned up, factory reset and working asmy main phone while this is down. On factory reset of this phone, restarting will also require that I do not let the second Google account be added. I think I am on to something.

Help Galaxy A12 Do not disturb Mode

I have a Samsung Galaxy A12 phone with the Android software version 12. Every Sunday I want my phone ringer to be shut off at a certain time for an hour. I've tried to do this with the "Do not disturb" feature. It appears to work fine, but I don't want to get a notification saying my Do not disturb mode is on every time I use my phone. I know it's on and it's a permanent setting for my needs.

I can't seem to get it to stop popping up in my notifications. I've tried to use the System UI Tuner App, but it says i's not supported. So is there a way to fix this? Or is there another App that does give you control over the notifications?

Missing Calls

Also make sure Do Not Disturb isn't on by mistake. Some Samsungs try to become self-aware these days and have 'adaptive' features such as auto turn on power save and auto enable do not disturb for some reason.

Also, FYI the A-series are budget devices and are not known for being the most reliable handsets. Unfortunately if you cling to expandable storage and headphone jacks as I do, they're the only 'modern' option left.

A word of caution. Calling Tracfone's tech support is a stress-inducing nightmare. You'd have less frustration debating a Christian about Athiesm. Their reps are very much in love with their scripts and treat people like they're idiots. I've had them repeat, over and over again 'try turning the phone off and back on!' even after I told them "hey, I tried that before I called you!"

Changing locale works in debug version of app, but only updates to EN or ES in release version?

Apparently by default they are! After looking it up, I simply disabled language-splitting within my build.gradle file, and now all languages that I give as options work perfectly!
Good news. If you're free and willing to help me, check out my free app and leave a 5-star, please. It's available on Google Play Store and just for a development exercise. Thank you in advance. :D

Notifications read on PC don't clear notifications on the phone.

Yes , if I swipe the notification it dissapears. But messenger i.e. acts strangely, as each time I receive a message, I get a notification on a badge, then I open MSG read it inside the app so the font of that message is no longer bold (meaning I've read it), I go back to main screen but the notification on the badge stays in its place as it was before. Only pulling down the notification bar and swiping it right clears the badge.
I made a separate thread on Motorola's forum too, I'm waiting for reply.

Text Editor Scrolls to End of Document

I believe this solves the problem:

I had to jump through way too many hoops to figure out how to fix this myself, so I'm leaving my solution in this chain for David6162 & anyone else that comes looking for answers in the future.

I'm like 80% sure this issue is caused by the Grammarly implementation into the Samsung keyboard. Grammarly is responsible for the green underlines under text it wants you to check & for some reason it's extremely insistent on you confirming the most recent underline (typically near or at the bottom of the page), so it snaps you to it very frequently to get your attention.

First thing I tried was to just disable Grammarly outright in keyboard settings but that didn't seem to work for me, so I dug a little deeper and found you can manually select which apps you want to disable Grammarly spellchecking for.

Goto: Settings > General Management > Samsung Keyboard Settings > Suggest text corrections > Manage apps ; once there you can disable which apps Grammarly will try to check for you (in this case you should look for Dropbox). Bear in mind you will still have access to standard Samsung autocorrect after disabling this so spellchecking shouldn't be an issue after disabling this.

App prevent usage while driving

The only 'tablets' I've seen drivers use are the huge bricks that still run Windows Mobile (brands like Zebra) that are carried around by the FedEx and UPS drivers.

Oddly enough I came across a Zebra scanner at a thrift store, selling for $40. I passed since 1) I think reselling them is illegal, and 2)I doubt I could have hacked the skinned variant of Windows Mobile for anything useful.

Can't get Pocket Casts to use SD card?

My issue, on my Samsung Chromebook 2 360 is that Pocket Casts doesn't even see my SD card. I'm wondered if it was an Android issue, but the Android Files app sees the SD card.

I have enabled SD access in Chrome, and allowed it for the app.

Does anyone know how to get it to see the SD card?

Thanks!
